(Clearwisdom.net) On December 10, 2005, International Human Rights Day, Falun Dafa practitioners in Japan gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to strongly condemn the human rights violations by the Chinese Communist regime in the persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners called for an end to the six-year persecution. A representative from the Falun Dafa Association of Japan read out a petition letter and delivered it to the Embassy.

China is one of the countries who have signed the "World Human Rights Treaty." Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights forbids the use of "torture or brutal, inhuman and insulting treatment or punishment." However, in the past six years, the Chinese Government has carried out brutal tortures against Falun Gong practitioners. So far, at least 2,791 practitioners have been brutally tortured to death.

Meanwhile, the human rights violations in China have become worse. A United Nations Special Rapporteur clearly pointed out after a recent visit, that torture exists widely in the current Chinese administration, and he has requested the Chinese Government to improve this situation. The UN official specifically pointed out that these tortures were part of a systematic, inhuman abuse of human rights.

The issue of human rights of Falun Gong practitioners has drawn much attention from the international society. The major culprit of the persecution, former Chinese president Jiang Zemin, has been sued in 17 countries. In addition, more than 30 high-ranking Chinese Communist Government officials have been sued across the world. Some of them have already been found guilty in international courts.

It is a heavenly principle that good is rewarded with good and evil meets with retribution. In front of the Chinese Embassy, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan strongly condemned the persecution.
