Clarifying the Truth to People You Only Meet Briefly

In my personal understanding, Master's words are trying to teach Dafa disciples how to do well in truth clarification under the present circumstances of having a family, working, and being extremely busy. We should not neglect the short few minutes of time when we meet other people. Sometimes we are able to create a very significant effect, two examples are given below:

1. Clarifying the Truth While Waiting at Traffic Lights

There is a traffic light in front of my house. One time, I was on my way back home and was waiting to cross at the lights when an Asian couple walked towards me. I felt that they looked like Koreans and hesitated for a moment, because many Koreans do not speak English very well (and neither did I), and I would not be able to accomplish anything. However, my righteous thoughts told me not to give up. I should at least give it a try! I used my limited English to ask if they were Chinese or Korean. Unexpectedly, they told me that they were Korean minorities in China and are able to speak Mandarin fluently. The lady was also very open and told me passionately how her grandfather had moved to China from Korea. I thought that I could not talk about such things with the limited time I had and asked them if they knew about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They told me that they knew. I gave them some flyers before saying goodbye and they accepted them gladly. I was even surprised at myself that I had spoken so many words to them in this short period of time, and we even waved goodbye as if we were good acquaintances.

2. Gods Help Arrange People with Predestined Relationships to Meet Us

One day I was on the bus taking my granddaughter back home. After we got off the bus, strangely, she refused to return home and wanted to go play on the bridge. Once we reached the bridge, she changed her mind again and wanted to go to the slides. At this time I saw two Chinese-looking faces walking towards me. When they got closer, I realized that it was my friend's wife and her mother, bringing their kids here to play. The mother had come a year ago to visit her children and we had met once before. I could still remember that I had wished to find an opportunity to clarify the truth to her, but a year passed quickly and I had not found a chance at all and was even criticizing myself for it. This was a golden opportunity given by the heavens. The reason why my granddaughter refused to go home was to wait for them.

As we walked together along the road and chatted a little I realized that the older lady was fairly cut off from the world and did not know about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Moreover, she was going back to China very soon. I did not want to waste any more time and quickly asked for her address and gave her a copy of the Nine Commentaries. Thereafter, I visited her many times to give them Dafa truth clarifying materials. The older lady read through all the materials carefully and asked me to help her renounce her membership in the Party. After this, she returned to China.
