Canada: Falun Gong Practitioners in Calgary Expose the Persecution on International Human Rights Day (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) December 10, 2005 was International Human Right Day. Falun Gong practitioners in Calgary held a press conference and candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate at 4:30 p.m. Practitioners all over Canada held similar activities at the same time.

Reporters from the TV stations Global Calgary and NTDTV interviewed practitioners, who used new evidence to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) severe persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners stated that the people in the most populated nation in the world are under persecution, and Falun Gong especially has been subjected to terrible persecution in China.

The CCP willfully kills innocent unarmed people using the entire state apparatus, and tortures Falun Gong practitioners without restraint. It has never valued the lives and property of the people. The Chinese people are deprived of the most basic human rights. Facing such atrocities, Falun Gong practitioners are persistent in clarifying the truth and exposing the human rights conditions in China. Global Calgary aired their report on Falun Gong's candlelight vigil at the Chinese Consulate during the prime time evening news.
