Promoting Falun Dafa in Rainbow City, Alabama (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Rainbow City is a small city in the state of Alabama. It was established in the early 19^th century. On December 10, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from Alabama and Tennessee came to Rainbow City to introduce an ancient Chinese exercise, Falun Gong, to the residents in the public library.

It was a pleasant winter afternoon. The practitioners drove on scenic roads extending over the hills and through the southern style farms and villages. The people at the library were very kind and helpful, and the practitioners were very grateful for their support.

At 2:00 p.m., the free Falun Dafa workshop started. After a short introductory video, a small group of residents began to learn the exercises one after another, following Master's Li teaching video. They were very interested in Falun Dafa and the principle of "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance."

One resident said he felt the energy flow inside his body after exercise one. Another person said she felt very familiar with the exercises, like she had learned them before.

After the exercise teaching, the practitioners and new students sat in a circle to share their experiences. Every new student wanted to learn more. One man said he thought it was only a physical exercise, but the practitioners told him that Falun Dafa is not only for physical health, but also could elevate the body and mind. He was very interested to hear such things for the first time in his life.

The practitioners also clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Every new student took some informational materials to give to their friends and family members. Two students gave the practitioners their addresses and asked for the photos taken at the workshop to share with their family and friends.

When people departed, they shook hands with the practitioners sincerely and thanked them for coming to teach Falun Gong.

In order to help more people have the opportunity to know about Falun Gong, the practitioners donated two books, Falun Gong and Life and Hope Renewed to the library.
