Facing Youngsters Contaminated by Falsehoods

(Clearwisdom.net) Yesterday I attempted to call a police officer in Jilin Province. The person at the other end hung up on me several times and finally turned off his cell phone. Later I decided to call his home. A youngster picked up the phone and told me about his father's involvement in Falun Gong persecution. The youngster had hung up on me in the previous two attempts, but at the third attempt he did answer the phone

With a small shivering sound in his voice he told me, " Falun Gong is an evil cult." I asked, " Where did you hear that? " He replied, "From the TV." I said, "You should have the ability to distinguish right from wrong. The television reports and the Tiananmen Self-immolation Incident discredit Falun Gong. Those are fabrications!" I also told him the real truth of the Tiananmen Self-immolation Incident and told him how the CCP had cruelly harmed many Chinese people.

The youngster also said, "Falun Gong did not allow people to take medication so many people died." When I heard how the rumors had contaminated his mind, it broke my heart. I responded with a choking sound, "Of course you need to see a doctor and take medication if you are sick. Falun Gong never asks one not to see doctor. However, if you become healthy by practicing Falun Gong, you wouldn't be sick, so you wouldn't need to take medication. Am I right on that? All you have seen and heard are lies. Don't be deceived by the CCP. You must tell the truth to your daddy, mommy, and your friends." He was there, listening, but he did not respond, and did not even argue with me.

This incident made me recall a phone call experience I had several months ago. When I tried to reach a prison guard's home, a youngster answered the phone. He had hung up on me several times previously, but I did not give up and kept trying and asked him a question while he was listening. Finally he told me, "At school, we saw the film that Falun Gong practitioners kill people. It was very scary. All the kids in the class watched it." He also told me that his classmate, whose father was a prison guard, also watched the movie. I told him the real truth of Falun Dafa. He was very excited and said, "Aunty, I know now that Falun Gong is great and cannot kill people. I must tell this to my classmates. Can I do that?" I replied repeatedly, "Yes! That is good. The more people you tell, the more people will become better."

In spite of several years of truth clarification efforts, there are still many people who do not know the truth of Falun Gong. I felt very bad when youngsters said they were afraid of Falun Gong. I felt my tears on my face. Those youngsters were unspoiled and the CCP, with rumors, has planted the seed of hatred in their immature minds. Their thoughts are confused. In such an environment, after they grow up, how can they have healthy personalities?

Most of the youngsters who do not know the truth of Falun Gong usually have a father or mother who work as police officials. In order to look for a so-called "reason" to justify their persecution of Dafa practitioners, they conceal their crimes by perpetuating the rumors to their families and their youngsters.

What should a young mind be filled with? It should be filled with the words "Truthfulness-Compression-Tolerance" and not with rumors and hatred. We need to continue telling the truth to this segment of the population in China.

My experience is to keep telling the youngsters until they have fully understood. Many people abroad have called China to tell the truth. China has a population of 1.5 billion. My ability is limited, but if all Dafa practitioners start to make an effort, the power of our truth-clarification will be huge and unmatched by anything.
