Twenty-nine Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested While Attending a Fa Conference in Lunan County, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) According to sources in China, on November 26, 2005, twenty-nine Falun Dafa practitioners were surrounded and then arrested while attending a Fa conference in Lunan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Among those twenty-nine practitioners, Ms. Sun Maoqin is from Lanshan District, Linyi City; the rest are mostly from Lunan County. Ms. Sun Maoqin is now confined in the Linyi City brainwashing center, as are Ms. Zhao Xiaowei and Ms. Yang Guangzhen.

On August 11-12, 2005, members of the Lunan County 610 Office and Police Department and police from the Dadian Town, Yanbin Town, Town East and Town West Stations ransacked more ten Falun Dafa practitioners' homes, harassed their families, and arrested many practitioners.

The Linyi City brainwashing center is an evil place that has tortured countless Falun Dafa practitioners. On June 20, 2002, Ms. Zhou Xiangmei (a practitioner, employee of Nanfang Credit Union, located in Lanshan District) was surrounded at her office by police who were trying to send her to this brainwashing center. In order to escape, she was climbing down from a fifth floor window with a rope that she made with bed sheets, when she fell and died.
