(Clearwisdom.net) By International Human Rights Day on December 10, 2005, about six million people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations. Some scholars believe that the withdrawals from the CCP results from the awakening of the Chinese people as they recognize the true nature of the CCP, judiciously break free from its injustice, and rationally choose their own future.

China has signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, yet the CCP has continued to trample on and damage fundamental human rights during the last several decades. The party directly orders and controls the entire national machines to attack the Chinese people.

This is especially true with regards to the CCP's bloody persecution of tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners in the last six years. Through lies, disguise, torture, illegal raids, and rapes, its wickedness has been fully displayed. These horrific acts are happening in China everyday. The CCP pushes them on the people through the national systems as though they are the will of the nation. So far, at least 2,792 Falun Gong practitioners have been verified to have died from the persecution. Even four years ago, more than 100,000 people have been illegally sent to forced labor. Although the CCP signed off on international treaties such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it has continued to violate human rights and international regulations, while hiding from and evading condemnation by the international community.

Even as the CCP claims to be building a "harmonious society," it has shown no sincerity to improve human rights. Starting in August and September of 2005, the remnant evil forces from the Jiang Zemin faction within the CCP initiated another round of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Many tragedies have occurred in various parts of China. The following are a few examples.

Mr. Yuan Shengjun, 42-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Jiyuan City, Henan Province, was still alive when a death certificate was issued for him. He was beaten to death on the way to the crematory.

The Kuancheng District Police Department of Changchun City arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wang Shouhui and her son Liu Boyang, both from Changchun City. Ms. Liu died from police torture on that day. His mother also died within two weeks.

Mr. Fei Weidong, 41-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, was beaten to death in a store where he was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong.

In Dongchengfang Township, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, policeman He Xuejian raped two female Falun Gong practitioners successively.

Recently, Falun Gong practitioners have promoted the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and supported those who withdrew from the CCP. Their cause was not to topple the CCP, nor to snatch power, but was due to the cruel persecution against Falun Gong the CCP has carried out over the last six years. Falun Gong practitioners hope that more people will read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party so that they can see the true, wicked nature of the CCP and stop voluntarily or involuntarily assisting the CCP in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Instead, these people should help Falun Gong practitioners end this slaughter that the CCP initiated against fellow Chinese people.

The CCP's harm is not only limited to the persecution of Falun Gong. Because of its nature, it is the cause of disasters in China. For example, it hides the SARS epidemic, the bird flu, the benzene contamination of the Songhua River, and a multitude of violence against the people. It points its guns at the people, most recently killing innocent citizens in Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. It uses torture to cause physical and mental suffering to people. Like a poisonous snake born to harm people, what the CCP does precisely reflects its nature.

The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party fundamentally and completely unveiled the evil nature of the CCP. Those people who have awakened will naturally take measures to save themselves. Over the last half-century, too many Chinese people's lives have suffered or ended at the hands of the CCP. All of those who have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organizations have chosen a bright future for themselves and will not perish with the CCP. Today, more than 6.4 million Chinese people have broken away from the CCP through publicly withdrawing from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, or the Young Pioneers. The wave of withdrawals from the CCP shows that the Chinese people are saving themselves after awakening. This is a rare example of a large number of people choosing a rational outcome in human history.

The preamble of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights reflects this choice. "Disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people."
