Ms. Dong Yulan, 71, lived in Lihuayu, Qianshan Town, Qianshan Area, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. She began practicing Falun Gong in 2000 and benefited in both body and mind. The authorities constantly harassed and persecuted her. They arrested her daughter, also a Dafa practitioner and sent her to a labor camp. Ms. Dong suffered greatly, both mentally and physically. She died on January 24, 2003.

Ms. Zhang Fenglan, 54, was from Zuoqi, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. She once had serious tracheitis and heart disease. After she started practicing Falun Dafa, her diseases vanished. Many people knew about the changes. After July 20, 1999, the Zuoqi 610 Office, the local police, and the residential committee harassed her, ransacked her family's home, and extorted money from her many times. On May 19, 2005, the vice director from the Zuoqi 610 Office, Zhang Rongshan and Zuoqi Bureau of Education made calls to harass her husband. She was so seriously devastated in both body and mind, that she had a heart attack. On May 29, 2005, she died.

Mr. Li Changzhi, about 70, was a retired worker from the Xindian Water Conservation Station, Yanchen Area, Luohe City, Henan Province. In 1996, he began to practice Falun Dafa. Because he went to Beijing to validate Dafa in 2000, he was sent to a forced labor camp for three years. Within one year of his release, his wife (a practitioner) died due to severe fear. The authorities still unceasingly harassed him and even suspended his retirement pension. Mr. Li died in September 2005.

Ms. Wang Shuqing, 50, was a teacher at the 83^rd Middle School, Changchun City, Jilin Province. She started to practice Falun Dafa before April 25, 1999. At the end of October 2000, she went to Beijing to validate Dafa. She was arrested and detained. The Changchun Municipal Public Security Bureau wanted to send her to a forced labor camp for three years. Her family members spent over 30,000 yuan to have her released on bail. In the past several years, Ms. Wang's husband kept her at home, not allowing her to have contact with anybody or to study the Fa. She was extremely depressed, and passed away in May 2005.

Ms. Meng Xiuchun, 60, was from Beianzhuang Village, Nangao Town, Luancheng County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. She once had cardiovascular disease and hemiparalysis and could not take care of herself. She began to practice Falun Dafa in 1997. She recovered from her illnesses in four months. She could do all the farm work in the field. After the persecution started, Ms. Meng was prohibited from studying the Fa and doing the exercises, so she had a relapse of her old illnesses. On February 19, 2005, she died.

Ms. Li Yanxue, 62, was from Dongxinzhuang Village, Wuji County, Hebei Province. In 1997, she took up the practice of Falun Dafa and benefited in both body and mind. On April 25, 1999, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa. From then on, she received unceasing harassment from the local police and the village commission personnel. In 2002, her only daughter became homeless in order to avoid the severe persecution . The local police station and the village commission personnel went to Ms. Li's home many times to harass her, which put enormous pressure on her. Because of the long-term spiritual and emotional pressure and the attacks, she had a cerebral hemorrhage on December 4, 2003, and died on the same day. She did not have a chance to see her daughter before she passed away.

Mr. Li Baogui, 75, was a worker at the Drilling Technology Company, Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau, Heilongjiang Province. Before practicing Falun Gong, he had urinary bladder cancer. After he began practicing Falun Gong, he had a healthy body. After July 20, 1999, when the persecuted started, his cultivation practice environment was destroyed, which rendered him unable to do the exercises regularly. He had a relapse of his old illness. In June 2002, he died.

Mr. Sun Weiqian, 70, was a worker at the Drilling Technology Company, Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau, Heilongjiang Province. Before he started practicing, he had hypertension and heart disease. After he began practicing Falun Gong, he had a healthy body. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution started, his practice environment was destroyed. Because he was afraid, he stopped practicing in 2002. He then had a relapse of his old illness. In August 2002, he passed away.

Mr. Liu Xiyou, over 50, was a worker at the Drilling Technology Company, Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau, Heilongjiang Province. Before practicing, he had rectal cancer. After he started practicing Falun Dafa, he recovered and was healthy in both mind and body. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution started, he could not study Fa and do the exercises. He had a relapse of his old illness and died on February 7, 2005.

Ms. Qiao Yuzhen, 74, was from Changchun City, Jilin Province. In 1997, she began practicing Falun Gong. In a short time, all of the diseases she had were cured without treatment. After July 20, 1999, the residential committee and the local police frequently went to her home to harass her. She used to have group Fa study at her home, so she was considered a key practitioner to be persecuted. The police asked her who practiced Falun Gong and where they lived. She did not say a word. Then they asked Ms. Qiao to write a guarantee statement, she also refused. She clarified the truth to them and told them the benefits of practice. Just two months before her death, the residential committee still demanded that she write the guarantee letter. Ms Qiao received enormous injury in both body and mind due to the long-term threat. In March 2003, she passed away.

Ms. Long Lianqiu, 53, was a practitioner from Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. She began practicing Falun Gong at the end of 1998. After she started practicing, the many diseases she had disappeared. In 2001, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government for the right to practice Falun Gong. In 2002, the police went to her home to confiscate her Dafa materials and detained her. After she was tortured to the point of becoming very sick, she was released on bail and went home. Because the police often harassed her, she was under severe psychological pressure. She was sent to Gongjiawan brainwashing center in Lanzhou City jointly held by the Jingyuan Ave. local police station and the former Security Department of Fenglei Factory. She was persecuted and sustained a cerebral hemorrhage and appeared to have hemiplegia. Only then was she released on bail. At that time, the police arrested her daughter Ms Zhang Ping and sent her to the Second Lockup, Hualinping, Lanzhou City. Ms Long was ill at ease and worried. In addition, the police at Jingyuan Ave local police station often went to her home to threaten her. Finally, she died on September 11, 2005.
