Reading Minghui Weekly Helped me Enlighten

(Clearwisdom.net) For the past several years I have had pimples all over my body, which made me feel unbearably itchy. This kind of phenomenon has occurred repeatedly and I could hardly endure the agony of it. Sometimes I was not really steadfast in cultivation. I believed so much in Teacher and in Dafa. I thought, "How could my karma not be removed?" It's really not easy to cultivate!

When I read the 193rd issue of Minghui Weekly, I was intrigued by one of the articles. It said in the article, "At present there are a lot of practitioners being arrested and persecuted to death or that have passed away due to illness. There are many reasons for these situations; however, mostly it's because the practitioner could not ultimately meet the essential standards of Dafa over a long period of time." Upon reading this, I suddenly enlightened to something. This applies to me!

Teacher said,

"This situation always occurred when I held classes in other places. Some people were in great discomfort and would not move in their seats, waiting for me to step down from the podium to treat them. I would not do it. If you cannot even pass this test, how can you still practice cultivation in the future when you encounter many big tribulations? Can't you overcome such a petty tribulation? Everyone can make it." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture Two)

After studying Teacher's Fa, if I become confident and give up bad thoughts, I can certainly make it.

Although I have cultivated for a long time and I also try to do the three things well in accordance with Teacher's requirements, why have I not completely overcome this illness karma? I've been in tribulations for a long period of time. It's just because I did not cultivate well and did not meet the standard for a Dafa practitioner. Although the old forces should not persecute Dafa practitioners, they are so attached to their own arrangements that only by cultivating well can I deny them. In the future I will be more diligent in order to treasure this opportunity that only comes once in millions of years and meet the standard for a qualified Dafa practitioner during this Fa-rectification period.
