More Information about the Persecution of Jinan Dafa Practitioner Liu Sitang, Who Refused to Participate in the "Safeguard Advancement" Campaign

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liu Sitang, 61, is a retired worker from Jinan Steel Group Equipment Manufacturing Company. Because he quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and refused to participate in the CCP's so-called "safeguard advancement" movement, the officials of his workplace ransacked his home and attempted to arrest him. Fortunately, Mr. Liu escaped.

At around 9 o'clock on November 30, 2005, the vice party secretary of the Jinan Steel Group Equipment Manufacturing Company Guan Xinggong and the company security section Chief Jiang Xi'an followed police captain Liu and several other officers from Jinan Police Department to illegally enter practitioner Mr. Liu Sitang's home. Because the ruffians didn't want to expose their activity, they didn't drive a police car that day. Jiang Xi'an carried a box of pears in front of them to hide their faces and knocked on the door. Deceived by this trick, Liu Sitang opened the door. As soon as they entered the door, the police entered his home. Guan Xinggong took out a paper vilifying Falun Gong and commanded Liu Sitang to sign it. He also claimed that Liu Sitang was involved in spreading Falun Gong. Mr. Liu Sitang refused to sign and seriously said, "I'm still practicing right now. I did not break the law."

The police searched the rooms, grabbed a dozen copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, Minghui Weekly magazine and Minghui Weekly newspaper, etc. During the search of his home, Mr. Liu Sitang kept righteous thoughts, "I am a Dafa Disciple, and they cannot arrest me." Then he put on his shoes and escaped.

Mr. Liu Sitang's wife, Zhang Huiqing, is also a Dafa practitioner. The police weren't able to take her away that day, but they assigned several police cars to patrol around her house to monitor her.
