(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Shuyan was a forty-seven-year-old practitioner in Dalian City, Liaoning Province who suffered from many diseases before she began practicing Falun Gong. Through the practice, she recovered from all of them. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began, criminal officials from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regularly came to her home, harassed her, and stayed there to monitor her. Her mind and body suffered greatly under the pressure. In the spring of 2002, Ms. Wang was detained by local police and imprisoned in a detention center for two weeks. After that, she continued to be constantly harassed. Ms. Wang passed away on October 23, 2005.

Mr. Li Zhiming was a forty-two-year-old employee at Farm No. 854, Heilongjiang Province. Since he persisted in practicing Falun Dafa, he was illegally arrested by the Public Security Division of the Railway Bureau in Mudanjiang City and had more than ten thousand yuan extorted from him as a so-called "fine." He was traumatized by the whole ordeal and soon after he was taken to the hospital. He passed away on October 1, 2005.

Seventy-three-year-old Guo Haitang was a retired worker from the Yingchun bus station of Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province. For practicing Falun Dafa, his wife was detained and persecuted many times. Also, police from the local Yingchun police station often came to his home, harassing them and illegally fining them. Mr. Guo fell ill due to the mental pressure and was taken to the hospital. He passed away in February of 2004.

Mr. Cheng Jinsheng was a seventy-two-year-old retiree of Renda, Qiaodong District of Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province. He lived in Room 102, Unit 1 of Building 34, Yitang Subdistrict and began practicing Falun Gong in July 1995.

On February 10, 2001, he and his wife, Ms. Yue Xinqin (also a practitioner), were reported by a security guard when they were handing out truth clarifying materials in Baolongcan supermarket, Huidi village. Police from the local station took Mr. Cheng to the Second Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City and imprisoned him there for eighteen days. He was forced to work for more than ten hours every day and had to sleep on a cold concrete floor. His health quickly deteriorated. When he came home he could no longer walk and had to rely on crutches. On May 30, 2001, people from the police station at Shengli North Street Community Office, and the Residential Committee came to their home, took Ms. Yue Xinqin and imprisoned her in Junxing Hotel, where a brainwashing session was conducted for four days. Mr. Cheng was overcome with anxiety and was bedridden. He passed away on December 15, 2004.
