A New Practitioner from a Rural Area: I Will Keep on Cultivating in Falun Dafa to the End

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a woman from a rural area outside Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. I am 57 years old, and I obtained Dafa in 2003. At that time, I was shopping for vegetables. While shopping, a Falun Gong practitioner clarified the truth about Falun Gong to me.

I had rheumatism since I was 20 years old. After cultivating in Falun Dafa, my rheumatism was cured. I also had stomach problems and kidney stones. I spent a lot of money in vain, trying to find a cure. Since last year, I did not take a single pill, but all the ailments were gone. I now have more confidence in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises.

Falun Dafa practitioners must do the three things that Teacher requested well. The first time I distributed truth-clarifying materials, I was very scared. I was afraid that I might be seen by other people and get arrested. After discussing this with fellow practitioners, my righteous thoughts became stronger. Now, the fear in my heart is quite weak. While I'm walking down the street, I will put the truth-clarifying materials into the baskets mounted on bicycles. If I pass by a house, I will place the truth-clarifying materials near the door. Several times when I shopped, the clerks gave me extra change. I gave the money back to them, and they all said that I was a kind person. I always remember that Teacher has taught us not to acquire what does not belong to us.

When I first started to clarify the truth, my relatives did not listen to me. They even tried to persuade me not to practice Falun Gong, since they had been deeply poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party propaganda. I clarified the truth about Falun Gong many times to them. Now, they no longer oppose my practice, and I clarify the truth of Falun Gong wherever I go.

I obtained Dafa late and I must diligently use my time to study the Fa and do the exercises. I seize any spare moment between my work at home and in the fields to do those two things. My husband died before he could be saved. I have to do the farm work for several people. When I feel tired and uncomfortable, I recite, "When it's Difficult to Endure, You Can Endure It. When It's Impossible to Do, You Can Do It," (from Zhuan Falun), as well as Lunyu, and "Hongyin". I recite the Fa as much as I can. No matter how difficult it gets, I will endure, and I will keep cultivating in Falun Dafa to the end.
