Witnessing the Evil at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2003, I witnessed the torture of Dafa practitioners when I was detained unlawfully at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Di Weiyan refused to be "transformed", so the authorities forced her to crouch with a washboard between her thighs and calves for 100 hours. Right after that, they twisted her legs and double-crossed and bound them with rope. They also twisted and bound her arms with rope behind her back. They made her perform so-called "meditation torture" for 18 hours. Di Weiyan passed out five times due to the pain. Because of her continual refusal to slander Falun Dafa, Di Weiyan was forced to squat on her heels, to stand still for long period of time, and was not allowed to sleep. The authorities bent her and stretched her again and again by binding her body tightly with rope until her body went into convulsions.

In late 2003, they tried to "transform" Di Weiyan again. They did not allow her to sleep for thirteen days and nights in a row, and forced her to stand still for some of those days. Di Weiyan's legs were so swollen at the end of this period of torture that she was unable to walk. After that, Di Weiyan was sent to Masanjia Comprehensive Building to be tortured again. While I was in Masanjia I witnessed Di Weiyan undergoing periods of torture at least seven times.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuling was hung up for more than twenty days in total and sometimes she was even hung upside down. Because of the severity of the torture, she lost consciousness a couple of times. She tried to use her hands to support her weight when she was hung upside down and the wicked people then stepped on her hands so hard that the bones in her hands were injured. In late 2003, when she was under forceful "transformation" once again, Zhang Xiuling was bound with rope and forced to undergo "meditation torture" for a whole day and night.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Shuqin had been totally healthy before being dragged out of her cell for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Gong. A few days of torture later, she was completely crippled. She could not stand up straight and she had difficulty walking. Her body was burned and disfigured from being continually shocked with electric batons. Even so, she was forced to do prisoners' exercises and to perform and finish heavy workloads at the labor camp. One of her fingers became permanently disfigured from working with poisonous chemicals while making crafts.

Practitioner Ms. Cui Xiaoqing was not allowed to sleep, not even close her eyes, for forty days and nights in a two-month period of "transformation." In the following twenty days, she was only allowed to sleep for the second half of the night. Masanjia Forced Labor Camp probably has tortured every "non-transformable" practitioner with this method.

I also saw practitioners Du Hongqin, Yang Yuejun, Li Hong, Sun Yanli, Yang Ying, Du Jingqin, Liu Yufen, Zhou Yuzhi, Wang Tan, Geng Guoge, and a few others whose names were unknown to me, tortured with different methods. Practitioners, Shen Shuwen and Zhang Yanqiu suffered from mental disorders caused by long-term brainwashing.

In Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, there was always a long line of practitioners who had been crippled from torture, had difficulty walking and standing up straight, waiting at dinner time. Most of those practitioners were crippled or handicapped from the "meditation torture." When I was detained on the first floor, I saw another three practitioners who had been tortured to mental disorder so badly that they were unable to look after their own daily needs. It is said that practitioners like them are often detained here.

The above is what I witnessed when I was surrounded by traitors and not allowed to go beyond a very small circle. These atrocities are only the tip of the iceberg.
