Crimes Committed by Guards and Medical Personnel at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
(Clearwisdom.net) Guards, medical personnel and "transformed" former practitioners worked together to brutally abuse Dafa practitioners at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. They brought great harm to the practitioners' physical and mental health.
1. The nurses
There are two nurses at Masanjia Labor Camp's medical office that worked closely with the guards to persecute Dafa practitioners. One of them is nurse Cao, who is in her fifties. During each shift for force-feeding or giving forced injections to Dafa practitioners, she verbally abused them when they did not cooperate. Another one is 25-year-old nurse Chen Bing. Chen often volunteered to help the guards persecute Dafa practitioners. She wrote prescriptions in the doctors' names.
2. Deceit
Since the beginning of this year, Dafa practitioners imprisoned at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp validated Dafa in many ways in order to save the misguided guards there. They went on a strike and a hunger strike. They clarified the truth about Dafa, and requested the unconditional release of all practitioners and reported the crimes the guards had committed to the higher authorities. The guards responded with more cruel persecution. Many practitioners' terms were extended, and many were sent to solitary confinement. Storage rooms, space underneath the stairs and bathrooms were used to confine Dafa practitioners.
The guards often lie. When Dafa practitioners were released, they lied to other practitioners, saying that all the practitioners who were not "reformed" were sent directly to brainwashing sessions. No matter what kind of severe illness Dafa practitioners suffered from, they never told the families the truth. Their lies caused several practitioners with severe illnesses to miss opportunities for medical treatment after being released. Some practitioners even passed away as a result. 3. More facts of the persecution (1) Practitioner Li Jun was an employee of the Dalian City Chinese Medical Hospital. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2003 for writing a letter to higher authorities clarifying the truth about Dafa. He suffered inhuman tortures at the Dalian Forced Labor Camp first and was then transferred to the Masanjia Labor Camp in October 2004. He was caught copying Master's article in the labor camp, so his term was extended. Warden Zhang Xiuping and guard Zhou Chan put him into solitary confinement.
(2) Practitioner Gao Yanling from Dalian was confined in the restroom, storage room and solitary compartment many times for not cooperating with the evildoers.
(3) Practitioner Song Ailian from Dalian saw that fellow practitioners were dragged out of the cafeteria for calling out, "Falun Dafa is good." She tried to stop the evildoers and protect the fellow practitioners. As a result, she and the fellow practitioners were sent to solitary cells and their terms were extended.
(4) Practitioner Xie Dewen from Dalian was confined in solitary cells for several months, which greatly damaged his physical and mental health.
(5) Practitioner Liu Huarong from Shenyang was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and later sentenced to another 3-year term. At Masanjia, she was confined to a storage room with her hands cuffed many times for not cooperating with the evildoers.
(6) Practitioner Xiu Ruijun from Chaoyang was locked in solitary for several days for refusing to wear the uniform and going on strike. She only had cold corn-flour buns to eat and dirty toilet water to drink. In May she was sent to a special unit for intensified "reformation," but she did not give in and was transferred back to Division No. 2 in July. Ms. Xiu's term was extended several times.
(7) Practitioner Ms. Wu Yueju is from the Dalian City Pulandian Area. She was imprisoned in the Dalian Forced Labor Camp for three years and suffered brutal tortures there. In 2004, shortly after being released from the Dalian Forced Labor Camp, she was arrested again for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor again and suffered inhuman persecution at the Dalian Forced Labor Camp. In October 2004, Ms. Wu was transferred to Masanjia's Division No. 3. There are some former practitioners at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp who betrayed Dafa and Master due to their human notions and not studying the Fa well. These former practitioners worked for the evildoers to monitor practitioners and report to the guards. Practitioners tried many ways to awaken their consciences, but did not succeed. An example is Pan Shumin from Anshan City, who acted as head of the inmates in Division No. 1. She found Master's articles and turned them in to the guards, and also tried to stop practitioners from sending forth righteous thoughts. Si Yu from Anshan City also helped the evildoers "reform" practitioners. Other examples include Xue Fuping, Jiang Yonggui and Qu Fenghua from Benxi City, Jin Junli and Ma Chunhua from Jinzhou City and Gao Yuzhen from Chaoyang City.
