Police Severely Injure One Female Dafa Practitioner and Detain Another

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 1, 2005, a female Dafa practitioner was severely injured by police from Huili County, Sichuan Province. When her relative went to the local Public Security Bureau and requested her release, the police refused the request and detained Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Denuan, who accompanied the relative there.

On November 28, 2005, two Falun Gong practitioners were turned in while clarifying the truth at Dajuandong in Huili County. Policemen Yang Shaoliang, Zheng Yong and a third policeman, who are from the Hongqi District Police Station of Huili County, used violence while arresting the two practitioners. They fractured the leg of one practitioner.

The two practitioners were held in the Shawan Detention Center in Huili. The practitioner with the broken leg has been suffering miserably with her injury. Her broken bone pokes into her muscle and can easily be felt through her skin, and she has not eaten or taken in any liquids since November 28. Her family went to the Public Security Bureau three times and requested that they send her to the hospital for treatment. They were refused by Yang Shaoliang, the director of the security team, each time.

On December 1, 2005, Jiang Deyuan and other Dafa practitioners accompanied the family of the injured practitioner to the Public Security Bureau and requested the release of the injured practitioner, and they were refused again. Yang Zhaoliang dialed 110 and called the armed police to chase away the relatives and arrest Jiang Deyuan.
