Several Dafa Practitioners Arrested by the National Security Team of Chuanhui District, Zhoukou City, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On the eve of October 1, 2005, the Political and Legal Committee of Zhoukou City, Henan Province, and the 610 Office issued orders to persecute Dafa practitioners using the tactic of "quick investigation, interrogation and sentencing."

Around October 1, Gao Feng, leader of the National Security Team at Sha'nan Public Sub-bureau in Zhoukou City, together with some policemen, ransacked the house of Dafa practitioner He Jinliang. Later they arrested Dafa practitioners Wu Jinshan and Gu Xuemin and held them at the detention center. Gu Xuemin is still being held.

About seven o'clock on November 26, Li Yuzheng and another police officer from the National Security Team at the Shabei Public Sub-bureau went to the house of Dafa practitioner Jia Baoling. They illegally searched the house and found nothing; Li Yuzheng felt that what he did was wrong so he said "Sorry" and then he left, discouraged. Later Li Yuzheng and another police officer went to the house of Dafa practitioner Wang Ci and illegally ransacked it, but found nothing.

On that morning, the policemen of Shabei Public Sub-bureau also ransacked the house of Dafa practitioner Zhang Shiying, confiscating many Dafa books and disks. There was nobody inside the house at that time and the policemen broke in by prying open the door. Two hours later, they came back again and arrested Zhang Shiying who had returned home. In his bare feet Zhang Shiying was taken away and detained at the Zhoukou Detention Center.

On December 8, policemen from the National Security Team of Sha'nan Public Security Sub-bureau went to the house of Dafa practitioner Yi Wangban, illegally ransacked it and took away Yi Wangban. Yi Wangban solidified his righteous thoughts and did not cooperate with the evil. His family "rescued" him. After the police extorted 2000 yuan, he was released.

Gu Xuemin, who is still detained, is a retired employee of the Foreign Trade Bureau in Zhoukou City. Before he practiced Falun Gong, he had various illnesses. After he practiced Falun Gong he was free of pain. The arrest of Gu Xuemin deeply damaged his wife and children psychologically.

Zhang Shiying is still detained. He is a laid-off worker without any income, living in poverty. Zhang Shiying is in his 40's, single and has to support his elderly mother.
