A Falun Dafa Practitioner's Family Member Exposes Crimes at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp and Brainwashing Center

(Clearwisdom.net) The staff members at the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp and Brainwashing Center in Hebei Province brutally persecute Dafa practitioners. The following are the facts exposed by a family member of a practitioner.

Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp is notorious for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The so-called "help and education team" made up of police officers headed by Xing Yong, Qi Honghong, Xu Xiushu, Qiao Xiaoxia and Di Manli attempted to forcibly brainwash and "reform" practitioners. All practitioners who refused to renounce their belief were surrounded, attacked both verbally and physically, and deprived of sleep for 24 hours. The guards also incited and connived with collaborators to beat, curse and humiliate the practitioners. This is another example of the so-called "Unite, Educate and Save" policy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). For the steadfast practitioners, including Xi Lili, Zhang Liming, Liu Yulan, Zhang Qingxi and others, they applied the "strictly monitored" method; i.e., two detainees were ordered to monitor each practitioner. Except for going to use the toilet and the washroom to wash their faces, the practitioners had no freedom and were isolated.

Practitioner Yan Pengxiang from Quzhou County, Handan City, Hebei Province is an honest and kindhearted housewife. During the period of "strict attack," a member of the local police station asked her if she would continue to practice Falun Gong, and she said "yes." The police officer said, "Then you will either be fined 5,000 yuan or sentenced to forced labor." As a farmer who does not have financial resources, what was awaiting her was a notice of a three-year term in a forced labor camp.

Ms. Li Huiyun, Ph.D., is a teacher who graduated from Hebei University of Technology. In March 2004, she and her husband were both forcibly sent to a brainwashing center where they suffered inhuman tortures. The first night in the brainwashing class, criminals tied her arms behind her back and onto a chair. Two male guards took turns beating her. Once, when one guard violently slapped her on the face with his palm, she immediately suffered a dislocated jaw bone, which made her face distorted. Seeing this, another guard violently slapped her face on the other side.

She was tortured for over five months in the brainwashing center and then sent to forced labor for two years in the Fifth Team of the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. At the labor camp, she remained steadfast in her belief and refused to give in. The police later sent her to a mental hospital, claiming she was schizophrenic. She was tortured there for two months. The high doses of tranquilizers and anti-depressant drugs made her so weak that sometimes she passed out.

In September 2005, when the police officers defamed Dafa and Teacher, practitioner Li Huiyun countered with a question, "If Falun Dafa is not good, why is it spreading all over the world?" Because of this, the guards of the Fifth team again sent her to a mental hospital, claiming that she had mental disorder.

This is the true picture of the so-called freedom of speech and freedom of belief under the evil CCP.
