Seven-Months Pregnant Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Liu Sujun Forced to Undergo Abortion and Later Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Sujun from Luannan
County, Hebei Province has been persecuted for the past six years. She was
handcuffed and hung up, tied to a Death Bed, force-fed, and shocked
with electric batons. In May 2001, the labor camp and people from the Luannan
County 610 Office took Liu Sujun, who was seven-months pregnant at
the time, to a hospital and forced her to undergo an abortion. On November 25,
2005, Liu Sujun was arrested at work by perpetrators from the Luannan County
"610 Office." She is still being held at the Luannan County Detention
Center. The following is her story: Liu Sujun is 39 years old and has been persecuted since July 20, 1999. She
went to Beijing many times to appeal and was held at the Luannan County
Detention Center, where she was tortured repeatedly. She was handcuffed and hung
up, tied up, tied to a "Death Bed", force-fed, and shocked with
electric batons. In December 2000 she again went to Beijing to appeal and was
again held at the Luannan Detention Center. In January 2001, she was illegally
sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp
in Tangshan City. At the labor camp, she held a hunger strike to resist the persecution, and
the guards savagely force-fed her. For a long time, she was tied to a chair in
the auditorium. Once, when she resisted force-feeding, the guards dragged her on
the ground by her hair for over 70 feet. After they dragged her around, they
beat her until her face was covered with bruises that remained for many days
after. One night in March, Liu Sujun and another practitioner were tied to a
barred door. The guards opened the window to expose them to the freezing
northern winter cold. Liu Sujun went into convulsions, and her legs and feet
became swollen. Her stomach was also swollen, but she was forbidden to receive
medical exams or treatment. In May 2001, the labor camp authorities found out that Liu Sujun was
seven-months pregnant. Agents from the labor camp and the Luannan County
"610 Office" took her to a hospital and forced her to undergo an
abortion. In September 2001, Liu Sujun was taken to the Kaiping Forced Labor
Camp, where she was deprived of sleep for several days and nights. Collaborators
tried to brainwash her and used various methods in an attempt to make her give
up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. One day in October 2003 at around 1:00 a.m., Liu Sujun was arrested from home
by agents from the Luannan County "610 Office," who also ransacked her
home. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor and again sent to the
Kaiping Forced Labor Camp. In October 2004, she left the labor camp with the
power of righteous thoughts, but police arrested her in the evening that same
day. She was sent back to the labor camp, where the guards beat her savagely.
Guards Yan Hongli and others tried to force Lu Sujun to kneel but she could not,
so they shocked her with electric batons and locked her in a room next to the
labor camp's education section. The walls in the windowless room are covered in
thick Styrofoam panels. The door has a small square opening that is used for
meal delivery. There is a bedpan in the small room, and the stench in the room
is overwhelming. The light is on 24 hours a day, and the detainee has no way of
knowing the time. Two metal rings are fixed to the ground. Huge, horrific and
bloody pictures are plastered all the way from the ceiling to the floor. After her labor camp term expired, Liu Sujun was held at the Tangshan City
Textile University brainwashing center for another three months. Soon after she
returned home from the labor camp on November 25, 2005, she was once more
arrested, this time at work. The arresting officials were from the Luannan
County "610 Office." Her home was ransacked, and the evildoers took
away her computer and other personal belongings. She is still being held at the
Luannan County Detention Center. Secretary of the Luannan County Politics and Law Committee: 86-315-4122721
