Vancouver, Canada: News Conference Condemns Chinese Communist Police's Hoodlum Crimes (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Being shocked to learn that two female Falun Gong practitioners were raped by a Chinese communist police officer after suffering terrible torture, Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver held a news conference at noon on December 3, 2005 in front of the Chinese Consulate to condemn the CCP regime's indecent crimes and appeal for those responsible to be brought to justice.

Background

On the evening of November 24, driven by the Chinese communist regime's oppression policy, police officers from Dongchengfang Police Station, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Liu Jizhi, 51 years old and Ms. Han Yuzhi, 42 years old from their homes at the Xitong Village, Dongchengfang Town.

Around 2 p.m., November 25, during the illegal detention and interrogation of Ms. Liu Jizhi at the Dongchengfang Police Station, police officer He Xuejian savagely beat Ms. Liu. Afterwards, he sexually harassed Ms. Liu and shocked Ms. Liu on her breast with an electric baton. Seeing the electric baton's sparks, He Xuejian kept saying, "It's funny! So funny!..." In the end, no matter how Liu Jizhi protested, struggled, and pleaded with a kind will, He Xuejian raped her.

Ms. Han Yuzhi who was arrested with Ms. Liu at the same time was unable to escape from the misfortune. She was also raped by the vile police officer He Xuejian. After being raped, Ms. Liu and Ms. Han were forced to do some hard labor. Two other police officers were on the site when the rapes occurred, but they did not do anything to stop it.

Over the past more than six years of persecution of Falun Gong, with the Chinese communist regime's connivance and protection, many unlawfully detained female Falun Gong practitioners have been sexually harassed and raped.

On May 13, 2003, a Chongqing police officer publicly raped Miss Wei Xingyan, a Falun Gong practitioner and a graduate student from Chongqing University. In October 2000, 18 female Falun Gong practitioners who were imprisoned in Masanjia Labor Camp were stripped off naked and thrown into male criminals' cells.

On May 14, 2001, a Beijing police officer beat and raped a female Falun Gong practitioner.

In 2001, police officers from Xingtai, Hebei Province gang raped several female practitioners.

In Dalian Labor Camp, Liaoning Province, police guards stripped off female practitioners' clothes and cuff their hands and feet spread eagle, in the shape of the Chinese character "大". Then they stuffed pepper into the practitioners' genitals, inserted mop handles or brushes into their genitals. As a consequence, the victims bled profusely and were in extreme pain. They also suffered long lasting back pain.

During the news conference, Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver called for those responsible to be brought to justice and they called upon international society to continue to pay attention to Falun Gong practitioners' human rights and help stop the persecution.

In the meanwhile, practitioners also warned the Chinese Communist Party and police that evildoers will be punished by heaven's laws. Those who persecute Falun Gong will definitely be held accountable.
