Six Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning, Heilongjiang, and Hebei Provinces Tortured to Death

Ms. Xu Fengzhi lived on Qidao Street, Xinfu District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Before learning Falun Dafa in May 1997, Ms. Xu had many diseases. After she started practicing her illnesses were cured. On July 20, 1999, she went to the city government to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. She told everyone that she learned Dafa, and that "Falun Dafa is good."

In 2000, her elder daughter was imprisoned at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. A practitioner told her that her daughter had resisted "transformation" and was brutally tortured. After Ms. Xu listened to the message she was very worried about her daughter and the other practitioners. The news saddened her. Due to the emotional trauma, she passed away on November 11, 2000, at about 11:00 p.m. in her sixty-ninth year.

Ms. Xu Fengzhi

Mr. Wei Yicheng, seventy-seven years old, was a Navigation and Transportation Bureau retired shipman in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. He learned Falun Dafa in 1995. On July 20, 1999, when Jiang's faction started arresting and torturing Falun Gong practitioners, his son and daughter were compelled to leave home. The police continuously harassed his family. The perpetrators kept asking where his son was. Mr. Wei was brutally tortured both physically and mentally. Mr. Wei passed away on September 25.

Mr. Li Shihua, forty-nine years old, was from Yangjia Village, Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province. He learned Falun Dafa in November 1998. His health improved after he started practicing Falun Gong. After July 20, 1999, the police continuously harassed Mr. Li's family. He passed away in December 2000.

Ms. Jiang Shuchun, eighty-five years old, was from Xinglong Town, Youyi County, Heilongjiang Province. She had been practicing Falun Dafa since 1995. She was paralyzed in the spring of 1999. She kept practicing and studying the Fa every day. After around ten days, she fully recovered. She always said, "Falun Dafa is good," when she went to visit friends. More than ten people practice Falun Dafa as a result of her persistent efforts in spreading Dafa. Xinglong Officials from the Village Police Station repeatedly harassed her family many times after July 20, 1999, and they stopped her from practicing Falun Gong and appealing in Beijing. She passed away on September 18, 2005, after her illnesses recurred. Before she died she told her two daughters to study Falun Dafa well.

Mr. Li Dexing, seventy-three years old, learned Falun Dafa in 1996. After he started practicing, his illness was cured. His son is also a Falun Dafa practitioner. After July 20, 1999, policemen and people from the community kept harassing them. Because the CCP destroyed their cultivation environment, his mind was seriously injured. In addition, his son was reported to the police, and was sent to a forced labor camp for three years. As a result of all of the harassment and problems, his old ailments returned. He passed away on September 10, 2004.

Ms. Li Xiulan, seventy-six years old, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Langfang City, Hebei Province. After July 20, 1999, the police and the 610 Office always harassed and threatened Ms. Li's family. Her old ailments returned, and she passed away in February 2004.

Ms. Chen Jianhua, about fifty-one years old, was from Xingfushiliu Village, Yantai City, Shandong Province. She suffered from diabetes before learning Falun Dafa in 1997. After beginning the practice not only was she cured but she could eat and work. From July 20, 1999, through 2000, Ms. Chen appealed in Beijing for justice for Falun Dafa, clarifying the truth and validating Dafa. The authorities extorted more than ten thousand yuan from Ms. Chen. She was imprisoned at a detention center, and handcuffed to a chair. She was deprived of sleep and force-fed. Ms. Chen was brutally tortured and she was only released when she was on the verge of death. After her release, her health was still not good, but she continued to clarify the truth to people. Six police officers from the Xingfushiliu police station arrested Ms. Chen in 2005, took her to a brainwashing center and tortured her. She was finally released because of her poor health. The perpetrators extorted a lot of money from and harassed her family. Due to the continued harassment and torture, Ms. Chen passed away on March 20, 2005.
