A New Falun Dafa Practitioner from Henan Province: "Falun Dafa Gave Me a Second Chance to Live"

I am from Henan Province, and I will be twenty-nine this year. In December 2004, the left side of my neck felt swollen and painful. The No. 152 City Hospital, the No. 1 People's Hospital, and the Provincial People's Hospital later diagnosed my condition as lymphoma (immunoblastic large-cell lymphoma). I received chemotherapy twice while I was hospitalized. All my hair fell out, but the chemotherapy did little to suppress the tumor; its size remained unchanged.

The physical pain and high fever made me toss and turn in bed. Sometimes I could not sleep for an entire night. I also tried folk prescriptions, but the more I tried, the worse my condition became. My doctor said that even if the tumor could be controlled, I would have at most only two years to live. At that time, I had been married for only six months. Upon hearing this news, my family and relatives were all terrified. The bad news was like five thunderbolts striking our heads all at once, destroying all our hope.

My mother is a Falun Dafa practitioner. She told me, "As long as you study Falun Dafa, you will be all right." Many other Falun Dafa practitioners also painstakingly explained to me the profound and intricate principles of Falun Dafa as well as its miraculous manifestations. So I started to study Zhuan Falun, and I gradually began to gain some understanding of the principles of Falun Dafa. I learned that Falun Dafa teaches one to become a true, good person, and it also has the miraculous effects of healing and fitness. Then I thought, "The hospital can no longer save me although it is very costly, and my family cannot afford the high cost - but Falun Dafa is totally free." So I made up my mind to practice Falun Dafa, believing that only Teacher and Falun Dafa could save me. I shared my thoughts with my parents, and they supported me.

In late January 2005, two days before I was released from the hospital, I again experienced a high fever of close to 102^oF (39^oC). I felt dizzy and my head felt swollen. On the day I left the hospital, however, the fever was gone, and I felt a lot better. I knew that Teacher had already started to purify my body. After I returned home, I was persistent in studying the Fa, practicing the exercises every day, and strictly following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Whenever I encountered a conflict, I looked within myself and thought of others. My old problems, like irritability, lack of patience, and some other character flaws, were all corrected.

One week later, a miracle occurred. The tumor behind my neck began to change from hard to soft, and from large to small. Within two months, it had disappeared completely. During this period, I did not take any medicine.

In April, I returned to my workplace. Since then, my body has become even stronger than it was before I got sick. I truly experienced how miraculous Falun Dafa is and realized that Falun Dafa is the most intricate and extraordinary science in the world. Because of my rapid and miraculous recovery, my family members and relatives also developed a correct understanding of Falun Dafa. They all said, "Falun Dafa is good," and some of them even embarked on the path of cultivation.

It was Teacher and Falun Dafa that gave me a second chance to live and led me to understand that the true purpose of human life is to return to one's true self. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude to Teacher. I hope all kind-hearted people will learn the truth of Falun Dafa, no longer be deceived by lies, become truly good people, and build wonderful futures for their families. I hope everyone will remember, "Falun Dafa is good!"
