Washington DC: Practitioners Hold Press Conference, Condemn Rape of Women Practitioners by Chinese Policeman (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, December 8, 2005) At noon on December 6, 2005, during the first heavy snow of this winter, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington DC held a press conference in front of the Chinese Embassy to strongly condemn Chinese policeman He Xuejian for raping women practitioners in Zhuzhou, Hebei Province recently.

The spokesperson said in the opening address, "On the afternoon of November 25, the Dongzhengfang Police Substation in Zhuzhou, Hebei Province, China conducted an unlawful interrogation of 51-year-old Liu Yuzhi and 42-year-old Han Yuzhi. Policeman He Xuejian raped them on site. More appalling, it is not an isolated incident. The brutal persecution of Falun Gong initiated by the former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader is still going on with the current leaders' acquiescence."

One western practitioner said that he had been appealing for an end of the persecution of Falun Gong for years. The CCP continues committing inconceivable atrocities. He said the American government and international community should recognize the evil nature of the persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Tao, who has conducted an appeal for six years in front of the Chinese Embassy, said, "Standing here, I don't know how to say it. Indignation and grief cannot express my feelings. The policeman raped practitioners his mother's age! Practitioners are here to uphold Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance through clarifying the truth, not suffer the persecution silently.

We can tolerate it, but heaven cannot. The evil policeman must be brought to justice and we cannot wait any longer. Such an incident should not happen again!"
