Dutch TV Features Interview Detailing the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) During prime time on December 6, Dutch National TV
Channel 1 broadcasted an interview with former Chinese official Han Guangsheng.
The interview was conducted by a Dutch reporter who flew to Canada to talk with
Han in person. Han served as director of the Shenyang Judicial Bureau for years
before he left the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and quit all his posts in
September 2001. The interview disclosed the brutal persecution of practitioners
by the CCP. In the program, Han recounted how his conscience couldn't allow him to remain
indifferent to the brutal persecution of innocent citizens. Based on his own
experience in the Chinese judicial system, he disclosed many appalling cases of
human rights violations that took place in forced labor camps, and the
systematic torture and abuse of Falun Gong practitioners in detention centers.
For example, high voltage electric baton (up to 15KV) shocks, forced-feeding and
brainwashing were often employed to force practitioners to denounce the
practice. Many practitioners consequently lost their lives. The program also introduced several paintings of the "Truthfulness,
Compassion and Forbearance" International Art Exhibit. With delicate brush
strokes, to expose the brutality of the persecution, practitioner-artists
depicted the torture of practitioners in China. In addition, the report also
touched upon Ms. Gao Rongrong's case. Ms. Gao's face was disfigured by guards
after 7-hours of shocking with electric batons in May 2004. To cover up the
undeniable facts of the persecution, the CCP persecuted Gao to death in June
2005. Han also mentioned that a 15-year-old girl was detained in one of the
detention centers in his district. For refusing to denounce Falun Gong, the
young girl was also tortured with electric batons. Han stressed that such cases
were not rare in those detention centers. The interview once again disclosed the facts of the brutal persecution and
the evil nature of the CCP.
