Facing Death

I am 54 years old. For many years, I often felt pain in my chest and stomach. I took pain pills every day. My condition deteriorated suddenly in April 2003 and I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. After staying in the hospital for one month, I had to check out because I ran out of money. I was completely handicapped and not able to do anything. In less than a year, my condition deteriorated substantially. Blood gushed out of my nose, and my whole body, the lower abdomen in particular, was quite swollen. My spouse and son took me to the hospital in tears. Examinations indicated that the cirrhosis of my

liver was terminal. My family brought me back home in despair. The medical bills ran over 20,000 yuan. My family started planning my funeral. I knew clearly that death was just around the corner. My spouse wept every day, lost a considerable amount of weight, and was as thin as a rail.

Falun Dafa Brought Me Back to Life

When I was struggling between life and death, several Falun Dafa practitioners in our village came to clarify the truth and told me that practicing Falun Gong could be the only hope. Thinking that I was dying anyway, I decided to give it a try.

I read Zhuan Falun first and then many other Falun Dafa books. Due to a predestined relationship, the more I read, the more I liked it, and my mind became calm and clear. In April 2004, I started practicing.

Within months, I regained my health despite the doctors' prognosis. I was soon able to do farm work in the fields.

The Village Party Secretary Protects Falun Dafa Practitioners upon Witnessing the Truth

This real-life miracle caused quite a stir throughout our village. Villagers spread their eyewitness accounts of the miracle of Falun Gong, which brought a dying person back to life. My entire family and almost one hundred residents in our village have started learning Falun Dafa. Some bedridden villagers recovered from many years of illness. Some have gotten rid of heart disease. I have been telling everyone that Teacher saved my life.

Practicing Falun Gong is an honorable thing in our village. The environment is not unlike the days before the suppression took place. Because of the efforts of Falun Dafa practitioners, our village Party Secretary and party officials have done everything they can to protect practitioners. When meetings were held in the village, some officials would recommend the meeting be concluded soon so practitioners could get back to do the Falun Gong exercises. Here, we would like to express our appreciation to our village officials for their support of Falun Dafa. We wish them and their families a great future. After all, one benevolent thought toward Dafa brings blessings for a whole lifetime.
