(Clearwisdom.net) On the 4th day of the year of Youyi (February 12,
2005), hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners from all over Europe held a grand
Chinese New Year celebration parade in Belleville, a busy Chinese area of Paris.
The parade consisted of a waist drum formation, traditional Chinese fan
dancing and lotus flower dancing, costumes from the Tang Dynasty and a Falun
Gong exercise demonstration float. Firecrackers, gongs, drums and elegant dances
expressed heartfelt New Year wishes to everyone.
A group of practitioners walked in the parade holding photos of people who
have lost their lives in the genocide against Falun Gong in China, reminding
everyone that even on such a special celebration day like New Year's Day, good
people practicing Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are being tortured,
persecuted and cannot go back to their families to celebrate the New Year.

media representatives reported on this activity.
