Update on the Nine Abducted Dafa Practitioners in Dehui City, Jilin Province

On December 14, 2004, nine Dafa practitioners from Dehui City were abducted by police who had been following them. These practitioners include Zhu Guoyou, Yu Shuhua, Ma Chunli, Su Dan, Sun Dawei, Bai Ruisong, Liu Fengyun, Xiao Baihe and Sun Changsheng. Sun Dawei and Bai Ruisong have been sent to Yinmahe Labor Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province. Zhu Guoyou is facing an illegal sentence. Ma Chunli is in critical condition after being on a hunger strike for two months. The other five Dafa practitioners were released after suffering various forms of torture.

Dafa Practitioner Wan Jixiang Falls Ill Due to Persecution

Dafa practitioner Wan Jixiang was a highly respected government officer in the Dongmafang Industry and Commerce Bureau from Yingcheng City, Hubei Province. Simply because he practiced Falun Dafa and strived to be a good person, he has been repeatedly persecuted since the suppression of Falun Gong began in July 1999. He was fired from his job, and arrested and detained on six different occasions. Moreover, he was fined many times. After the relentless persecution, this formerly healthy man has become a cancer patient.
