Australian Citizen Richard Chen Calls for Urgent Rescue of His Sister-in-law Liang Zihui


(Clearwisdom.net) According to Australian citizen Richard Chen, his sister-in-law Liang Zihui was kidnapped by security personnel from Guangdong Industrial University between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on January 24, 2005. On January 27, Xu Qingsong from the Guangzhou Tianhe police branch raided her house, but he did not find anything. Xu Qingsong belongs to the Tianhe police branch and was previously head of their 610 Office, which they have renamed to the "Internal Security Department."

Liang Zihui's husband, Chen Ruichang, was the deputy editor-in-chief of the Guangdong Television Station. Ms. Liang was sentenced to two years in the Guangzhou Cuotou Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was released on January 15, 2003 to seek medical treatment. The couple was abducted again on June 15, 2003.

Liang Zihui is currently being held at the Guangzhou Tianhe Detention Center. The address is: Tianhe Tang Xiashangshe fifth building. Related numbers below.
