In winter 2003, I clarified the truth to a leader in the Bureau of Industry and Commerce and gave him some informational materials. He enjoyed listening to and reading them. He told me, "The Party is so corrupt. We really need Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance in our country. The people who practice Falun Gong are all good people."

I even gave the truth-clarifying brochure to a leader of the Forestry Bureau and told him the truth about Falun Gong. He said, "Li, a young person who works in our office, also practices Falun Gong. He is a really good person. He relinquished his condo to others when our office gave out condos. Such a good person has been arrested by the police department and sentenced to two years' imprisonment. His sister-in-law also practices Falun Gong and has benefited from the practice. She is a good person too. I heard that the head of the local police station arrested her one day and she died the next day."

Another practitioner and I have clarified the truth to a young person in the Bureau of Industry and Commerce. He voluntarily asked for the truth clarifying materials. He told me that he has already watched the truth clarifying VCD and immediately realized that the Tiananmen Self-immolation incident was fake. "How could the police officers go on patrol carrying fire extinguishers and take pictures while the officer was holding the fire-smothering blanket?"

He also said that people should take a look at the content of Zhuan Falun first and then draw their own conclusions. The government deceives the public. The things the government does are really dirty. Then he expressed his willingness to practice Falun Dafa. I gave him some Dafa books and instructional videotapes. He was really happy and decided to practice Falun Gong seriously.

A Dafa practitioner is given a position of responsibility at her new job

A female Dafa practitioner was hired by a private enterprise after her office fired her because she persists in practicing Falun Gong. During the interview, the practitioner asked the manager, "I practice Falun Dafa. Do you have any concerns?" The manager laughed, "I know about your story. I surf the Internet very often." He also said that a lot of practitioners have been oppressed and tortured to death.

After watching her for a while, the manager assigned the purchasing work that everyone considered as work with "benefits" to this Dafa practitioner. This position is in charge of tens of thousands of yuan in cash every month and a lot of purchases are not formally invoiced. It is therefore very easy to make some illegal gains from this position. But the manager trusts the Dafa practitioner and believes that she is qualified for this work. This made a deep impression on other staff members in the office. They said that the elder sister of a Falun Gong practitioner, when doing work, did a good job and made the boss feel assured.

Kindhearted police officer: "Please don't tell them that I told you this."

A practitioner in a large city in southwestern China was kidnapped by the local police, and held at the custody center and brainwashing center. She was interrogated and threatened by the police officers repeatedly. Among the policemen, there was a police officer who had a sense of righteousness. When the other policemen were not around he told her, "I just want to let you know that the slogan, 'If you confess, the punishment will be lightened, but if you insist on refusing, the punishment will be severe' is a lie. Actually if you 'confess,' you will stay in jail forever, but if you 'persist,' you will be able to go back home in time for the Spring Festival. Please don't tell them that I told you this."
