Two Practitioners in Liaoning Province Died while forced to Become Homeless in 2003

Mr. Lu Hua ,48, a Falun Dafa practitioner lived in Xigang District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. He was very sick before he encountered Falun Dafa. He had chronic fever, and had to hold onto the railing tightly in order to walk upstairs. All his illnesses were cured after he began practicing Falun Dafa in 1994.

After the persecution began, he was twice arrested by the police from the Houjiagou Substation, and detained in the Yaojia Detention Center. The police and the officials from the neighborhood administration office repeatedly harassed him after he was released. They threatened him and even sent people to monitor him. He was consequently forced to become homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Under both mental and physical pressure, his illnesses came back. He died in August 2003.

Ms. Sun Dezheng, in her 70s, a Falun Dafa practitioner, lived in Yuhang District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, and both her mind and body were greatly benefited. Since July 1999, Jiang and his scoundrel regime used its power to persecute Falun Dafa in the entire country. The police from Yuhong District Substation, led by Deputy Director Wang Zhaohe (male, in charge of the persecution affairs), repeatedly harassed Falun Dafa practitioners in their homes by knocking on their doors after midnight and threatening them. Ms. Sun Dezheng was forced to become homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. She was under constant pressure and terror, and she died in a traffic accident in March 2003.
