(Clearwisdom.net) At the end or the beginning of the year, the jail authorities usually allow practitioners to send letters home. However, they do not allow people in jail to call home or be visited by family members. I am hereby appealing to practitioners who are not in jail to send letters extending cordial greetings to incarcerated practitioners in the name of their relatives and friends. This will very much encourage practitioners who are illegally jailed, and will bring the power of Dafa to the dark dens and the evil persons in them. We should write the letters with wisdom and use words with double meanings. Otherwise, the letters will not be delivered to the practitioners.

We are one body. Didn't phone calls from practitioners abroad awaken many people in the maze? Especially to those practitioners who still insist on practicing Dafa under such evil circumstances, the letters are not only greetings and heart-warming words, but also something that can make the jailed fellow practitioners feel optimistic. These hearty greetings by mail can both strengthen practitioners' righteous thoughts and awaken the kind human nature of those around them.

A little piece of my own experience can serve as a proof.

It was in the spring of 2002 when people in room number 180 of Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp tried to reform me forcibly within three months. They deprived me of sleep for 24 hours, and cuffed me up at the same time. On the day they were sending me to the "Law Enforcement Center" my seventy-year-old mother-in-law brought my nine-year old child and seriously sick husband to see me. Tears poured down my mother-in-law's face as she said to the team leader, "My daughter-in-law is very good ... please save our family with all its old, weak, and sick people!" Although her thought was not very righteous, it still aroused people's sympathy.

On the third day after I arrived at the Center, I wrote a "solemn declaration" and submitted it to the brigade to clean up my own dirty spots. They then severely cursed at me and threatened, "Who dares to jump out? This is a law-enforcing place!" My heart was calm with nothing to fear because I had obtained Dafa. Since that time, over the next several years I have been locked up in isolated cells without being allowed out. At the same time I also utilized everyday people's laws and wrote a request "Asking for re-discussion" (in accordance with a regulation document of "Decisions on Forced Labor Education,") exposing the local office for extorting confessions by torture, using physical torture and other illegal means, and asking for unconditional release. Whenever the end or the beginning of a year came around, I extracted some passages from historically famous people's writings, and sent them by letter to my relatives, eulogizing the past and satirizing the present to show my suffering due to my losing freedom.

One day in July, a young man (not a practitioner) from my hometown came to see me. This puzzled the team leader. When asked about the relationship between us, the young man answered humorously, "From the same father and a different mother" and he left a note and 100 yuan in cash for me. I told the team leader honestly that he was not my relative but a stranger. He did this because many people realized the truth about Dafa and knew that good people are jailed here. This good person's action shocked the team leader and convinced him. Using the return address on the envelope, I instantly wrote a letter to thank the young man and praise his action. This made the team leader believe more in my good behavior.

Finally, they said: "Someone even came to give you money while you are jailed. Your situation is better than ours!" "Yes, I will only be jailed for a while. But you will be jailed here in the place where you stay, which is just another kind of imprisonment," I replied.

From that time on, a team leader said, "You may keep your own belief and we will no longer try to transform you." He even frequently had discussions with me to learn the meaning of "Dafa rectifying the human world," "consummation," and so on. And I always used Dafa to check my behavior more strictly. I sent forth righteous thoughts, recited Dafa books, practiced the exercise movements, helped other people, and created a good environment around me. Someone had been arranged to watch me but after she obtained the Fa, she helped me deliver Teacher's articles and validate the Fa. In that cruel situation, even common people come to help. Their behavior not only demonstrates their predestined relationship with Dafa, but also manifests their courage, righteousness and conscience.

Yes, we might be from the same family historically, and we may have once been brothers or sisters, which accounts for the fact that we now live together in this dirty hell of humanity. No matter when our predestined relationships manifest, they will all be resolved after we obtain Dafa. How lucky we are! We obtained the Fa in the same lifetime, and together we are bathed with Buddha's light. So many thanks to our Teacher! He takes care of us like his children. Let's pick up our pens and use our righteous thoughts to write articles to wipe out all the evil that is trying to impede the progress of Fa-rectification, and let's awaken common people around us to help Teacher in carrying out our duties in this world.
