(Clearwisdom.net) Recently I saw an article written by fellow
practitioners in which it was mentioned that some practitioners in China
emphasized "Already a God When Obtaining the Fa." ("Saving All
Sentient Beings," from Hong Yin, unofficial translation) So, they
did not step out to clarify the truth; instead, they expected to
stay at home and wait for "consummation." This thought has clearly
deviated from Master's requirements. Then, what is the real "obtaining the
Fa"?
My understanding is that Dafa is like pure water, and a person is like a
container. Master said in "Melt into the Fa" (Essentials for
Further Advancement), that "A person is like a container, and he is
whatever he contains."
If this container is full of holes (omissions), then what is the use of just
studying the Fa all the time? We must do the three things well that
Dafa practitioners should do according to Master's requirements: study the Fa,
clarify the truth and send forth righteous thoughts--and eliminate all the
omissions during this process. Only by doing so can we genuinely obtain the Fa,
and truly become Buddhas and Gods and harmonize our paradises.
