(Clearwisdom.net) Facts of the Persecution In the past several months, thugs from the Lanxi County Police Department's
National Security Division, as well as those from Hulan County's Limin Town
Police Station, illegally detained and sent more than 10 practitioners to a
forced labor camp. In the evening on November 21, 2004, many practitioners from
Yulin Town of Lanxi County were arrested, including Gao Yanhai, Zhao Chunlu,
Jiang Zhongyu, Zhang Shuhua, and others. They are being detained at the No. 2
Detention Center in Hulan County. On November 23, more practitioners from Yulin
Town were abducted, including Li Dekui, Qin Yunfeng, Wang Huanying, Wu Fenghua,
and Li Jifeng. After being detained for more than 50 days, Li Dekui and Qin
Yunfeng were sent to a labor camp for terms of one and a half years and three
years, respectively. The other three practitioners were forced to pay fines
before they were released. On November 24, when Li Yunyan, a practitioner from
Linjiang Town in Lanxi County, was selling clothes in a town market, local
police in Lanxi County arrested her. After detaining her in the detention center
for 50 days, they sent her to a labor camp for one year. On February 25, 2005,
police arrested two practitioners from Yifa Village in Hongguang Town, Lanxi
County, and put them in a detention center. Chinese version available at: http://minghui.ca/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96701.html Falun Dafa practitioner Shi Suosheng was detained for a very long time. The
day after New Year's, officers Dong Hebin and Yu Haiyang beat and kicked Shi for
no reason. They also did not give Shi any food. People detained in Changlinzi
Labor Camp were forced to do slave labor processing toothpicks. When the
workload is heavy, everyone has to finish four boxes per day. Some have to work
from 5 a.m. until about 10 p.m. For those who are slower, they need to work from
5 a.m. until 3 a.m. the next morning, allowing for only two hours of sleep.
Currently, about 30 practitioners are still illegally detained in Division 5. Chinese version available at: http://minghui.ca/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96671.html The Mudanjiang Prison police attempted to use enforced exercise and brutal
torture to make practitioners give up their belief in Falun Dafa. Practitioner
Wu Yuerong was deprived of sleep for seven days. The guards also used
"taking a bath" as an excuse to drag him to the restroom and drench
him with cold water. When practitioner Yao Guocai was kept in a solitary
confinement cell, he went on a hunger strike for 15 days to protest. Police
instructed inmates to force-feed Yao. They brutally inserted a tube through
Yao's mouth down to his stomach. While he was being force-fed, the inmates
dragged the tube up and down to torture him. Because of the force-feeding, Yao's
throat became inflamed and he later fell ill. Chinese version available at: http://minghui.ca/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96695.html On March 18, 2004, Mr. Yin Zhirong and other practitioners in Hehuakeng Labor
Camp in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, requested in writing that they no longer
be forced to sit on wooden stools. (Practitioners were ordered to sit for more
than 14 hours a day. If a practitioner did not sit straight on the stool, he
would be beaten, kicked, hit on the head with shoes, or shocked with electric
batons. From sitting so long, their buttocks developed painful abscesses. This
caused the muscles in both of 60-year-old practitioner Yue Qing's legs to
atrophy, and both of his feet went numb.) At noon on March 18, labor camp
director Wang Yong led several policemen in Division Six to interrogate and
persecute more than 10 practitioners one by one, including Yin Rongzhi, Zhang
Qinghua, Liu Jianbo, Cao Shunting, Gao Guochang, and Li Shu. They ripped off
practitioners' shirts, clamped their heads with their legs, placed police ropes
around their necks, and tied up their arms. The ropes were very thin and wound
very tight, so that they cut into the practitioners' flesh, causing their entire
bodies to swell up. Policemen also inserted a one-yard long stick under their
arms that were already tightly bound. Every practitioner had many bruises from
this physical abuse. Chinese version available at: http://www.minghui.org/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96690.html In Autumn of 2004, more than 10 police officers arrested Hefei City Dafa
practitioner Ms. Ding Shumei and sent her to the Shushan District Brainwashing
Center inside Anhui University. In the brainwashing center, she was severely
tortured by many collaborators, including Ding Qizhi, Lu Wangqi, Li
Yulian, Huang Guizhi, and Li Weihai. These collaborators brutally beat Ding
Shumei, from front to back and head to toe. They also dragged her from the bed
onto the floor and then to the corner of the room. Because of the severe
beating, Ms. Ding had large bruised areas on her body, and her eyes were so
swollen that they could hardly open. Clumps of hair were also torn out, and her
mouth was full of blood. After the collaborators closed the doors and windows,
they stuffed newspaper in her mouth and pushed her onto a bed or chair. They
then took turns punching her in the head. Ms. Ding's head had many lumps from
the beatings and her physical condition was precarious. When Ms. Ding did not
give up her faith, the collaborators tortured her the same way over and over
again. Chinese version available at: http://minghui.org/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96703.html 6. Police director Feng Aiguo responsible for persecuting practitioners in
Hubei Province In the second half of 2004, since Feng Aiguo replaced Yang Jian as the
director of the First Division of the local police department, he has done
terrible things to persecute Dafa practitioner. He has arrested and detained 18
Dafa practitioners in Sandian Town, sentencing two of them to prison. In early
February 2005, when practitioner Guo Chunliu was visiting family, policemen in
Xishui County illegally arrested and detained Guo at the No. 1 Detention Center
in Xishui County. Guo went on a hunger strike to protest. On January 1, 2005,
police from the First Division arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Fan Chengfang, a
retired Agricultural Officer in Guankou City, who was on his way to visit
friends. They detained Mr. Fan in the No. 1 Detention Center in Xishui County.
Around New Year, policeman Feng Aiguo monitored and followed Dafa practitioner
Mao Jiequan and even tapped Mao's phone line. As a result, Mao was forced to
stay away from home. Chinese version available at: http://www.minghui.org/mh/articles/2005/3/5/96700.html Posting date: 3/19/2005 |
