(Clearwisdom.net) The people in Mainland China have been brainwashed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for decades, and it's hard for them to recognize the cruelty and evilness of the CCP. Influenced by other's biases, prejudice and existing opinions, they have difficulty understanding the truth about Falun Dafa. They might even have participated in the persecution of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" due to their loyalty and obedience to the CCP. They have helped the evildoers without realizing it, and putting themselves and their future in grave danger.
Since publishing the Epoch Times commentary, "On the Collusion of Jiang Zemin with the CCP to Persecute Falun Gong," the Clearwisdom website has published many practitioners' articles on a similar theme. One such article was "Further Purify Ourselves and Eliminate All Microscopic Elements of the Communist Party's Spirit Possession" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/12/5/55238.html), etc. These articles have helped people, including practitioners, to remove the poisonous elements caused by the CCP's lies and propaganda.
Many Dafa disciples are members of the CCP, and some elderly Dafa disciples even joined the Red Army and helped the CCP gain power in China. They used to dream about the "ideal" communist society fabricated by its party. Misled by the party, they wrongly believed that the kind and steadfast characters of some members were the manifestations of the "ideal" member of the party. Thus they might still have sentiment toward the party. Furthermore, they might think that some existing opinions already evolved into their nature and ideals, but that they haven't been realized yet.
In 1999 at the beginning of the persecution, some Dafa disciples emphasized the fact that they were members of the CCP, even outstanding members. I understand that the purpose of it was to validate Dafa from this perspective, to counter the accusation that Falun Dafa is "Anti Party and Anti Society," to let everyday people know that Falun Dafa practitioners are decent people wherever they are, and to eliminate the misunderstanding that we are "involved in politics and trying to compete with the CCP to gain popularity among ordinary people." After experiencing so many years of CCP dictatorship, we should be able to understand the following fact that even the ordinary people in China know: To be an "outstanding CCP member" does not mean the same as being an "outstandingly good person." The CCP title is not a standard that should be used to evaluate a person, and it should not be used to rectify the Fa.
From the viewpoint of practitioners, the CCP is the wicked spirit made by the old forces to persecute Falun Dafa. In order to exist in the universe, everything needs elements to maintain its life. To the CCP and its belief, they also need believers. Each believer strengthens its life. Manifesting at the level of human society, when people in Eastern Europe and Asia were misled by communism and became excited about it, communism became powerful and arrogant. When fewer and fewer people believe in communism and its ideology, the evil is frightened. Although the people who remain in the communist party are there for political gain or even for the formality of it, the communist party needs to win them over to keep their membership. Seen from other dimensions, the number of those with party membership is real. They are maintaining the communist party's remaining life. The members are like cells that compose its massive body.
Therefore it's not difficult to understand why Jiang's regime is so afraid of Falun Gong practitioners who cultivate "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and has tried all means to suppress them. On the surface, Jiang was jealous of Falun Gong because it is very popular among people, and the CCP's "Deceit, Wickedness, Violence" is a vivid contrast to Falun Gong's "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." Therefore he learned from Mao Zedong and tried to wipe out a group of people in order to establish his own dictatorship. But the real reason was that he was very nervous about the fact that the number of people who practice Falun Dafa was more than that of the CCP, even though Falun Dafa practitioners are the kindest and most peaceful people.
Falun Gong is cultivation, and we do not get involved in or oppose any political organization. After studying the Fa and practicing cultivation, people who had previously been brainwashed by atheism have come to understand that Gods and Buddha really exist; that good will be rewarded with good, and evil will be met with evil; and they will not obey the party's orders anymore, and don't want to join the party. Those are fatal blows to the CCP.
Four years ago, I heard a comment made by an everyday person who was speaking on a radio hotline. He angrily condemned the crimes committed at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. They stripped off the clothes of 18 female Falun Dafa practitioners and threw these naked women into a men's cell. He said, "The CCP is the real cult demonizing China. It has all of the same characteristics of a cult that it has tried to plant on Falun Gong!" More and more people are awakening and becoming conscious.
Everyone who has a membership in the CCP is a particle of this real cult. Though most people only bear the name, they help its vigor and liveliness more or less. If everybody cut off their ties to it, the CCP will disintegrate and wither away.
From the viewpoint of an everyday person, the fundamental characteristic of the CCP is atheism. Cultivators believe in Gods, and do not meet the basic requirements of the CCP. In addition, the evil constantly clamors, "The CCP member and the Communist Youth League members are not allowed to practice Falun Gong." Some practitioners joined the CCP in the past for various reasons, but have not been atheists for a long time. When Jiang and the CCP use each other to persecute Falun Dafa, shouldn't fellow practitioners seriously reconsider their party membership? I asked the question to a fellow practitioner who has a party membership. He told me, "I am waiting to be expelled." Nowadays, we are getting rid of the evil elements in other dimensions, and are not passive in the face of the persecution. From most people's perspective, leaving the CCP is freedom of religion. From a higher perspective, it is disengaging completely from the CCP, the real cult, and taking away its energy and room to breathe.
I was a communist youth league member. When I was arrested the first time, the authorities asked me what a communist youth league member was, and I answered mechanically based on the definition given to me in school "a communist youth league member is the assistant to and the reserve of the communist party." When I was arrested the second time, I had a better understanding of this question. When my interrogator asked me again that as a member of the communist youth league why I practiced Falun Gong, I told him I was not a member of the communist youth league. He was furious and told me that my records showed that I was a member of the league. I told him calmly, "The moment the government announced that the members of the CCP and the communist youth league were not allowed to practice Falun Gong, I quit the communist youth league. I chose Falun Dafa." He was shocked and couldn't say a word. His rampage disappeared immediately.
So far, the CCP's persecution of Dafa and its evil nature have been clearly exposed. Can you still announce, "I am a CCP member"? Can you still acknowledge this dirty title? To actively reject the membership is different from "waiting to be expelled" and "to disengage from the party from the heart."
CCP membership is not just a formality. For example, a party membership fee has to be paid monthly. The CCP claims that they have a membership of about 60 to 70 million people. Suppose everybody were to pay 10 yuan per month (The party membership fee is based on income. The higher the income, the higher the membership fee is). The total fee would be about 600 to 700 million yuan! No matter how the money is used for Party activities or is funneled into unknown organizations, this huge amount of money is the resource that supports it.
It is said that a party member quits automatically if he/she does not pay the membership fee for 6 months (the naked demand for money). Can fellow practitioners use this way to leave the CCP? Publishing an announcement to quit the CCP with an assumed name or pen name as soon as possible is a more direct way to express one's decision and be on record.
