By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, there have been many reports on the Minghui website regarding how practitioners in China make use of laws to oppose the persecution of Falun Dafa. Several of us have found, through discussion about the lawsuits in China, that some fellow practitioners in China are not familiar with relevant laws, lacking knowledge about citizenship and the legal system.

Undoubtedly, this lack of knowledge has resulted from the long-term brainwashing and mental control used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to manipulate the public. Of course, it is also an arrangement by the old forces which was imposed in order to create an environment for the persecution of Falun Dafa. The rights of citizenship are, in fact, also basic human rights. Knowledge about citizenship is in fact, human rights awareness. The rights of citizenship are not something that can be awarded by the CCP. Instead, they are the birthright of every human being. The CCP has been fooling people on the subject of human rights from the beginning. It replaces human rights with "the right to existence" in an attempt to deprive people of the rights of citizenship which are safeguarded by laws.

Jiang's regime persecutes Falun Gong and enforces a policy of "defaming their reputations, bankrupting them financially, and destroying them physically." It sabotages Falun Gong practitioners' normal lives, and destroys their homes and living environment using illegal and brutal means. Falun Gong practitioners cultivate in the human society, trying to be better people. At the same time, they are legal citizens, having the same rights as other people in society. It is said that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Then, Falun Gong practitioners' rights of citizenship should be respected by the society and protected by the laws as well.

The CCP never requires itself to operate according to law. It abuses its power to go beyond the laws. In an environment where those with power are beyond the law, and where the public has been subjected to long-term brainwashing by the CCP, Chinese people (including government officers) have a very weak knowledge of the legal system. Their fear of power is far beyond their respect for laws. We often hear people say, "Do not practice any more because the government does not allow you. If you keep practicing, you are against the government." This reflects the fact that Chinese people as a whole have very little legal awareness. They cannot tell the difference between government executive orders and laws, and they follow power blindly. However, shouldn't Falun Gong practitioners, even under such pressure caused by abuse of power, still ask for the right to cultivate nobly and insist on their belief?

Also some people say that there is no law in China because laws are only made to show to foreigners. It is true, as much analysis has indicated that the Jiang regime believes in power and does not know or respect laws at all. It uses internal Party documents to replace laws in its shadowy, underhanded dealings. It controls the government in order to suppress Falun Gong. Jiang's regime persecutes Falun Gong without following any legal procedures. It violates the Constitution and replaces the rule of law with rule by force, and it illegally deprives Falun Gong practitioners of their rights of citizenship.

As practitioners, we may find a positive way to deal with the situation. Jiang's regime damages laws and deceives people all in the name of "legal administration." Why is that? Because its strength consists only of words. It is very scared at heart. The regime is afraid that people may learn that it violates and damages the laws. Although Chinese law is abused by the evil regime, it is nonetheless a potential sharp sword which could be aimed towards Jiang's regime. Whether we are able to make good use of this sharp sword depends on whether we are able to make the truth known to the public.

It is said in Zhuan Falun that,

"Meanwhile, people also must have a human living space and living conditions, and these should also be maintained. Human beings still need to maintain their lives and live normally." (Zhuan Falun)

It is unlawful for Jiang's regime to deprive Falun Gong practitioners of their rights of citizenship. Even criminals have their basic rights of citizenship, let alone the great number of Falun Gong practitioners who are following the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

From the perspective of human society, laws exist to maintain a normal human living environment, to protect goodness, and to punish viciousness. They serve the purpose of upholding justice. It has been said that "people are the foundation of a nation while law is the weapon of the public." As Falun Dafa practitioners and members of human society, we should try our best to safeguard the rights of citizenship bestowed by the law, to uphold justice, and to see that crime is punished in accordance with the law. This is not done only for oneself, but for all people because it benefits society and is a manifestation of compassion. The process of carrying out a lawsuit is, at the same time, the process of exposing the persecution and clarifying the truth in depth. During this process, more evil will be eliminated and more sentient beings will be saved. It manifests the grand mercy of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Viewed from a different perspective, mutual inhibition and mutual generation exist in the human world. When Jiang's regime damages laws regardless of consequences it provides a good chance for Falun Dafa practitioners to explain the truth by making use of the legal system. As long as we utilize it with rationality and wisdom, and familiarize ourselves with relevant laws, we will be able to expose the persecution using our personal experience, greatly shock the evils, and awaken people in the world.

Many people say that the CCP will not talk about laws because the courts and policemen are all controlled by the CCP. No justice has ever been obtained from the CCP in history. What's the use of talking about law with the CCP? Because of this, some people find it hard. Dafa practitioners do not acknowledge the arrangements of the old forces. Human society is controlled by higher beings in other dimensions. From the human level, the CCP still looks strong. However, in another dimension, its being, represented as a red vicious dragon, has been destroyed. In front of Dafa practitioners, it is indeed very weak.

With the rapid pace of Fa-rectification, evil in other dimensions has been substantially eliminated and become less and less. It has become easier and easier for Dafa practitioners to make use of laws to stand against the persecution, as long as we keep our righteous thoughts and act righteously. When any person in society comes to know the truth, he will have a sense of justice. Thus, more and more people are going to support Dafa practitioners and openly oppose the persecution. It is just a matter of time before the head of evil and the malicious thugs who persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners are brought to justice.

In this situation, it is very significant for practitioners in China to build up knowledge about citizenship and the legal system, and to safeguard normal life and their cultivation environment by means of human laws. It is a way to oppose the persecution, clarify the truth, eliminate evil, and offer salvation to all sentient beings. It also helps human society to nurture the right concepts of good and bad, and to set up moral criteria.
