Atrocities Committed Around the New Year in Harbin Women's Prison, Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Harbin Women's Prison has stepped up its persecution of Dafa practitioners again, and fully revealed its evil nature. We shall give a detailed account of what has transpired.

From December 21 to 31, 2004, because Dafa practitioners in the first district of Harbin Women's Prison refused to cooperate with their oppressors and wear prison uniforms or be body searched, they endured various types of torture.

On December 20 and 21, 2004, Dafa practitioners Ms. Wu Suling, Ms. Zhang Xiaobo, Ms. Zhang Linwen, and Ms. Zhang Liping took off their prison uniforms. In the afternoon, the leaders of the prison guards, Cui Hongmei and Xia Fengying, prison guards Lu Min, Lu Cuijun, Lu Heng, Liu Yan, Yu Li, Deng Yu and others led 30 convicted criminals, including Han Jianying, Bai Xiaoli, Liu Chao, Liu Ying, Wen Xin and others, to handcuff the four Dafa practitioners' hands behind their backs and hang them on their beds which were approximately 1.8 meters height. Ms Wu Suling is less than 1.5 meters tall, so her whole body was airborne while the others could barely touch the ground with their toes. After half an hour, everyone's hands had become purple, the skin over the wrists started peeling and their hands became swollen. Ms Wu passed out. They immediately used the long needles that they had already prepared to stick into the acupuncture point above the lips, and inject them with drugs.

The prison guards also led the convicted criminals to search for articles written by Falun Dafa Teacher, Mr. Li Hongzhi, in Dafa practitioners' prison cells. Because Dafa practitioners Ms. Gao Guizhen, Ms. Yu Xiuying, and Ms. Liu Xuewei did not comply, they were handcuffed with their hands behind their backs. During the evening roll call, when Ms. Zhang Jing erected her palm to send forth righteous thoughts, she was dragged into a room, shackled to the floor and not allowed to go to sleep. Both her hands and feet became swollen. On December 28, a prison guard shackled Ms Chen Weijun to the floor because she took off her prison uniform. In the afternoon on December 29, the prison guards led 10 criminals and hung Dafa practitioners Ms. Chen Wei, Ms. Wu Suling, Ms. Zhang Jing, and Ms. Zhang Liping up. They were afraid that their evil acts would be discovered, so they turned the volume of the music up loud, drew the curtains, and sealed Dafa practitioners' mouths, so their screams could not be heard. Except for Ms Zhang, the other three practitioners all fainted. They called for the Doctor. After Ms. Wu recovered consciousness on December 30, they shackled her to the floor again. Not until December 31, was Ms Wu unshackled and brought to the rear building for solitary confinement. Two convicted criminals watched over her. Moreover, they used torture instruments on her. Ms Wu's present situation is unknown.

After Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Juyan was transferred to the first supervising area, because she did not squat to report her name, she was taken to the rear building for solitary confinement. Ms Wang went on a hunger strike to protest. The prison guard force-fed her three times a day. She was also hung up from the bed and not allowed to sleep. There are also Dafa practitioners who were made to squat on small benches from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Harbin Women's Prison has recalled Dafa practitioners from all supervising districts to the prison buildings to monitor them. They are not allowed to make contact with each other. Any individual who does not comply is locked up in a small cell. The prison has established itself as a brainwashing center. The officials are adapting even more vicious means to torture Dafa practitioners. I hope Dafa practitioners who learn about this will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the dark minions and rotten ghosts there and help stop the persecution.
