The Foul Smell of Burning Flesh Permeates the Torture Chamber at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp

I am Liu Wanli, a 40-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Xishan Village, Qiuzigou Town, Suizhong County, Liaoning Province. In November 2002, I experienced vicious torture at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp. The following account describes what I had to endure.

On May 1, 2002, while to going to Beijing in order to appeal to the government, I was arrested and taken to the Tiananmen Police Station. I was then transferred to Huludao Police Station, Beijing Office. After being beaten, I was transferred to the Suizhong County Police Station Politics and Security Section, and was then sentenced to 3 years of forced labor.

In November 2002 at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp, one day at about 7 p.m., a guard named Liu Guohua took me to a room that they had prepared in advance for persecuting Dafa practitioners. Over 10 guards and 2 criminal inmates stood on both sides of a bed with a pile of electric batons lying on it.

At first, guard Ding Wenxue ordered me to accept "transformation" by writing the Three Statements promising to give up cultivation. I said, "Dafa can improve a person's morality. I practice Falun Dafa and am trying to be a good person. You want me to be transformed, but what kind of person do you want me to transform to?" Then Ding Wenxue told two criminals to hold me down on the ground. They used many electric batons to shock my private parts, then they beat me with a special baton. They were shouting while beating me, "Don't think you can get out of here if you aren't transformed!" At that time, I thought: I am a Dafa practitioner. It was teacher Li Hongzhi who spread the Fa and saved me, and also helped me understand the true meaning of life. I should not listen to these evil people. Then, I just shouted loudly: "Falun Dafa is good!"

When they heard me shouting, they stuck an electric baton into my mouth and proceeded to shock me on the head, face and in other areas at the same time. While they were shocking me, they said, "The government has issued a document saying that 'if you are killed it is to be counted as a suicide.'" They beat me to the point that blood came out of my mouth and nose. Seeing that I still didn't cooperate, they became more vicious and used even more violent means on me. My flesh was burned, and emitted a foul smell. My body was deformed in many places. My face was also deformed and became swollen.

After a while, under their brutal persecution, I was forced to write down words against my will.

The methods the Chinese Communist Party adopts to persecute good people are horrendous. Many Falun Gong practitioners who are steadfast in their beliefs have suffered from such cruel tortures. Today I expose their evil deeds of persecuting Dafa practitioners, so as to provide solid evidence for bringing them to justice.
