Making practitioners stand as punishment
Guards in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp force a Falun Gong practitioner to stand facing the wall, with her toes, body and face touching the wall. The practitioner is not allowed to move at all. If she is unable to endure, she will be beaten. The long period of standing makes one feel extremely tired and the victim's feet, legs and lower back become swollen and painful.
Electric shock
Guards in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp shackle the practitioner to an iron chair and pour cold water on her. Then they use several electric batons to simultaneously shock the practitioner in sensitive areas. As a result, the practitioner's skin is scorched, blistered and easily becomes infected. Some practitioners' entire bodies turn black and blue. Some are shocked so badly that they lose consciousness.
