Dafa Gave Me a Second Life - Torture Is Unable To Change My Belief

(Clearwisdom.net) Before cultivation, I took fame and gain very seriously. Being very narrow-minded and easily agitated, I suffered all kinds of diseases such as nephritis, gastritis, gall bladder infection, dizziness and headache. As a result, I could only manage to eat porridge and vegetables, which left me seriously malnourished. I had to depend on medication to sustain my life. The nephritis recurred increasingly frequently each year. When it recurred, I had to depend on infusions, which cost several hundred yuan each. Our financial situation worsened as a result. Later even the medication did not work. I could not eat or walk. It was as if my life had come to an end. The doctor told my husband: "She cannot live long." I wanted to put an end to it all. However, out of consideration to my son, who was still of school age, I decided not to commit suicide.

When I was desperate, Dafa gave me a second life. When I was at my mother's house, my sister-in-law took me to the practice site. The first day after I finished practicing, I fell unconscious for over half an hour. The second day, I got up after resting for a while. The third day I got up right away after I finished the exercises. One week later, all of my diseases disappeared. I felt energetic and happy. It is such a good feeling when I no longer suffered diseases! Dafa is truly incredible! As I continued to study the Fa and practice the exercises, not only did my health improve, but my xinxing also improved. I understand the purpose of my life and the principle of being a good person. I look within whenever I encounter conflict. As a result, my relationship with others became harmonious. I could not get along with my mother-in-law. After obtaining the Fa, I follow the principle of "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance" and treat her very kindly. She also supports me to promote Dafa.

After the persecution began on July 20^th of 1999, I could not keep silent, since I was a beneficiary of Dafa. I felt I should step forward and be a dignified cultivator despite the pressure. I decided to go to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. The police arrested me in Tiananmen Square. I was sent to a security office in Beijing. I saw an over sixty-year-old grandmother whose life was in danger as a result of a beating by police. She said that her husband was the bodyguard for Li Xiannian, former Chinese president. She had served as a guard for the Red Army since she was thirteen years old. She did not expect to be beaten just for following Falun Dafa's principles of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." She just wanted to be a good person. Aren't the police supposed to serve the people?

I was detained at the local public security office after being taken back to my hometown from Beijing. After I was finally released, they once again harassed and monitored me. They forced me to pay a fine and repeatedly ransacked my house and confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials. They took away anything of value, and also my ID card. I could not even find a temporary job without an ID. As a result, I was forced to leave my home to avoid even more persecution.

But that is not the end of it. They have searched all over for me. My father was threatened and worried so much about my safety. He could not eat or sleep and became very ill.

I have been abducted and sentenced to a labor camp, and after my term was completed, I was put in a brainwashing class. But no matter how rampant the evil is, it cannot stop my path of cultivation. A life that is created by Dafa should validate Dafa. Although I have been homeless, I still clarify the truth wherever I go. Wherever there is persecution, there is a force that is against persecution.

Falun Dafa is the fundamental Fa of the universe. The truth will eventually be revealed to the world.
