Righteous Thoughts and Actions Create an Environment for Spreading the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 5, 2005, shortly before the Chinese Lunar New Year, Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yuhua from Ewenke Banner of Hulunbeier City, Inner Mongolia had his home illegally ransacked by the police after someone reported him. During the ransacking, some truth-clarifying materials were found. The police used these materials as "evidence," arrested Liu Yuhua and detained him in a local detention center.

After learning about the situation, fellow practitioners in Ewenke Banner all thought that they should completely deny the arrangement of the old forces and thus should not allow the police to persecute Dafa disciples for no reason. The human world is not a place for evildoers to commit evil. Whether a fellow practitioners has a loophole or not, when he or she faces persecution from the police, we shouldn't avoid it or run away from it. Instead, we should eliminate the evil using righteous thoughts, and we should rescue our fellow practitioners. After everybody reached a common understanding, several veteran practitioners invited Liu Yuhua's family members to go with them to see the local police. Other practitioners supported them with righteous thoughts (practitioners from nearby counties also supported us with righteous thoughts) and were prepared to go to Beijing to safeguard the Fa.

The local police hadn't been able to hold anything against Dafa disciples during the past few years of the Fa-rectification, and so they had been pretending to be nice to practitioners. However, after the "evidence" was found this time, their true colors were exposed. When the practitioners requested the unconditional release of Mr. Liu, the police shouted, "So many flyers have been found and yet you still dare to come and make trouble? All of you are detained!" The Dafa practitioners said boldly and confidently, "The flyers are for saving people from the lies and slander of the state-run media; there's no hidden agenda. You allow all the media to lie but you don't allow us to speak the truth. What you found is only a basketful. Even if you were to find a truck full of flyers, what does that prove? For the sake of Dafa we are not even afraid of losing our lives. Do you think we will be afraid of being detained? It is not a big deal if you capture the few of us. Other Dafa practitioners who are not on your list will still go to Beijing to appeal for Dafa." The policemen were speechless. After a few rounds of negotiation, they gave in. They talked to Liu Yuhua's family members and told them that Mr. Liu would be detained for 15 days based on public security rules. They asked Dafa practitioners and their family members not to come looking for Liu Yuhua any more and not to go to Beijing, either, but to wait for the release of Mr. Liu.

Through this incident, the local Dafa practitioners genuinely felt that since Master and the Fa are present, and as long as Dafa disciples have enough righteous thoughts, the evil will not be able to devise any plots against us. In the beginning, a few practitioners thought it would be too difficult to stand up to the police, but they were moved by the righteous thoughts of several veteran practitioners and were then able to understand the Fa from the standpoint of the Fa. The persecution of Dafa by the communist party is itself illegal, so how could we accept that the flyers and materials for truth clarification were "evidence" of any "crime?"

From the viewpoint of non-practitioners, behind the police are the powerful state machine and law enforcement agencies, whereas we are just a handful of weaponless cultivators. The contrast of power is sharp. But from the viewpoint of the Fa-rectification, what is behind us is our great Master, countless numbers of Buddhas, Daos and Gods and millions of practitioners. What lies behind the evil are the dark minions. The policemen are afraid of losing their official posts and their jobs, but Dafa practitioners are afraid of nothing. So, based on that alone, the policemen are no match for Dafa practitioners. The actions of the Ewenke Banner practitioners have once again validated the Fa taught by Master. Master's vast compassion was also displayed everywhere through this incident.

Not only should we Dafa practitioners do the three things well, we also should care about our fellow practitioners. We should use our righteous thoughts and actions to create an environment for introducing the Fa, save more sentient beings and accomplish the sacred mission that each one of us has been endowed with.
