Partial List of Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in the Chongqing Construction Company

(Clearwisdom.net) The following is a partial listing of Falun Gong practitioners employed by the Chongqing Construction Company, who were persecuted due to their firm belief in Falun Gong

Ms. Xiao Daoming, in her 60s, retired, was detained for 15 days for appealing to the government in December 1999. She was tortured to death in April 2001.

Ms. Kong Dezhen, 52, lived in Democracy Village #2, Xiejia Bay, Jiulongpo District. She was illegally arrested by Beijing police for appealing to the central government during the Spring Festival holiday season in 2000. Ms. Kong was later sent back to Chongqing by the local Chongqing police and illegally detained for 15 days at Maoxiangou in Jiulongpo. Because she refused to give up Falun Gong practice, Ms. Kong was paid only a portion of her salary. It wasn't until October 2004 that she received her full salary again. On November 22, 2004, Kong Dezhen clarified the truth at Huangjiaoping, and the next day she was arrested at her home by Huangjiaoping police officer Zuo. Currently, Ms. Kong is detained at the Chongqing No. 2 Women's Re-education School in Changshengqiao.

Ms. Huang Lubin, 52, lived in Democracy Village #1, Xiejia Bay, Jiulongpo District. In September 1999, someone reported her when she was watching Teacher's lecture video at home. Police officers from Laodong Village in Xiejia Bay later ransacked her home and detained her for 15 days at Maoxiangou in Jiulongpo. At the end of August 2000, Huang Lubin was taken to the brainwashing center at Bailushan Manor by agents from the 610 Office affiliated with the Chongqing Construction Company. On November 22, 2004, Ms. Huang was arrested illegally by local police agents for clarifying the truth in Huangjiaoping. Currently, Huang Lubin's exact location cannot be verified; it is said that she is being detained at the Chongqing No. 2 Women's Re-education School in Changshengqiao.

Ms. Fan Defeng, 70, lived in Laodong Village No. 2 in Xiejia Bay. In November 1999, she was arrested in Beijing for appealing to the government, and was sent back to Chongqing and illegally detained for 15 days at Maoxiangou in Jiulongpo. At the end of August 2000, Fan Defeng was taken to the brainwashing center at Bailushan Manor by agents from the Chongqing Construction Company 610 Office. In September 2003, Ms. Fan was transferred to the Baishiyi brainwashing center for torture.

Ms. Zhao Xiaoqun, 62, lived in Unit 3/ 3-1, Building #5, Democracy Village #2, Xiejia Bay, Jiulongpo District. Local police officers from Xiejia Bay ransacked her home because she went to the practice site to do the exercises in July 1999. In December 1999, Ms. Zhao went to Beijing to appeal to the central government and was arrested and later sent back to Chongqing and detained for 15 days at Maoxiangou in Jiulongpo. At the end of August 2000, she was taken to the brainwashing center at Bailushan Manor by agents from the 610 Office of the Chongqing Construction Company. On May 21, 2001, Zhao Xiaoqun was interrogated by Chen Gang and other agents from Section 1 of Jiulongpo Police Station, and she never came back afterwards. She was deprived of food, water and sleep for 2 days. After lies and threats, Zhao Xiaoqun was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp, where she was tortured to near death. She was released on November 29, 2001. The Chongqing Construction Company withheld her pension because of her firm belief in Falun Dafa. Only after Ms. Zhao protested frequently did the company start to pay her again in June 2004, but she received no back pay for the previous 36 months.

Ms. Han Deqing, 67, lived in Laodong Village No. 2 in Xiejia Bay. She went to Beijing to appeal to the government on behalf of Falun Gong in December 1999 and was illegally arrested and sent back to Chongqing. She was illegally detained for 15 days at Maoxiangou in Jiulongpo. At the end of August 2000, Ms. Han was taken to the brainwashing center at Bailushan Manor by agents from the 610 Office of the Chongqing Construction Company. In July 2001, she was abducted from her home in Jiangjin by police officers from the 610 Office of the construction company. They sent her to brainwashing classes in Chongqing City, Beipei District. Later, when Han Deqing turned in her "Solemn Statement" to the 610 Office to affirm her firm belief in Falun Gong, the authorities began to withhold 230 yuan from her pension each month. She wasn't paid the full amount again until October 2004.

Ms. Zhang Wenjun, 66, retired worker. Ms. Zhang was reported to the authorities for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. Starting in April 2003, until now, the company has withheld 180 yuan from her pension every month.

Ms. Huang Qiongxiang, 66, retired worker. Ms. Huang was reported to the authorities for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. From October 2002 until September 2003, the company withheld a total of 2,160 yuan from her pension, or approximately 180 yuan per month.
