The Power of Righteous Thoughts -- the Change in My Uncle

My grandmother was over 90 years old and paralyzed in bed, so she needed my mother to take care of her. My uncle came to visit my grandmother once a month, and I used the chance to clarify the truth to him. He wasn't very receptive. At first, he pretended to be listening and did not argue with me. Later on, he flew into a rage as soon as I mentioned Falun Gong. He also defamed Master Li.

I remembered that once during the Chinese New Year period, we had a gathering at my home on the third day of the New Year. Many relatives and friends came to my home. After a while, I took out a truth-clarification VCD and showed it to them, but my uncle opposed it. After I finished playing the part about the self-immolation incident, my cousin said, "Before I watched this video, I didn't know that the self-immolation was staged. Now I understand." Before, I clarified the truth to him and also showed him a flyer, but he was indifferent about it. However, after my cousin watched the truth-clarification VCD, he understood it right away. This also helped me see the importance of using the truth-clarification VCD.

After Master Li started publishing new articles, I started to realize more clearly the role and power of righteous thoughts: a non-practitioner is very weak compared to a practitioner. People dare to show disrespect to Dafa and Master Li only because evil beings in other dimensions control them.

If we send forth righteous thoughts to clean out the evil beings that control non-practitioners and we cultivate well, then the energy field we carry can clean up bad elements and the environment nearby. Then it will become easier to clarify the truth to people.

My uncle still came to visit my grandmother once a month. This time, I was not in a hurry to clarify the truth to him. After chatting with him for a few moments, I went back to my room and held up my palm to send forth righteous thoughts. I held the thought to eliminate all evil factors that control my uncle, encompassing all and leaving out none. I continued to do this for several months.

Not long after, my grandmother passed away. When we organized my grandmother's funeral, I patiently clarified the truth to my uncle again. I was surprised to see that this time his attitude had completely reversed course. He believed everything I told him and accepted the truth-clarification flyers and VCD that I gave to him. He also said, "This time I need to carefully read and understand them." Such a big change really revealed the power of righteous thoughts.
