1. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Xinpu Has Been Held in Detention for Over Two Months

Police from the 610 Office and the local police station in Laiguangying Town, Chaoyang District, abducted Mr. Zhang Xinpu. (He was a senior colonel at the Liberal Army Artillery Research Institute.) Mr. Zhang has been held over two months in a rest house at 1 Beiyuan Road, Beijing City.

2. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Yarong and Two Other Practitioners Abducted

The police have abducted Wang Yarong, Shao Guilan and Zhao Fengying. They are currently being held in the No. 2 Baoqing County Detention Center.

3. [Haerbin City, Helongjiang Province] Police Search Li Min and Jin Chengshan's Homes and Confiscate Their Belongings

On the afternoon of March 10, 2005, the police arrested Li Min who is from Hulan District, Haerbin City, at work without reason. They searched his house, confiscated some of his property, and even left some police there to guard the house as part of a plan to abduct more practitioners. Four to five police officers using an all-purpose key broke into Mr. Jin Chengshan's home and confiscated some of his property including his computer. The police did not arrest Mr. Jin since he is paralyzed, but they monitored his home day and night in order to abduct more practitioners. The search and seizure raid is still ongoing.

4. [Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Police Abduct Sun Xiuying from Her Home

Four police raided Ms. Sun Xiuying's home at 10:00 p.m. on March 7, 2005 and took her away.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Miao Fengzhen Abducted on Her Way to Work

Miao Fengzhen lives in Dadong Village, on the east side of Mashanjia Town, Yuhong District. She was abducted on March 3, 2005 on her way to work. Ms. Miao is currently being held in Changbai Detention Center.
