Florida, U.S.A.: Tampa Practitioners Introduce Dafa at Community Fair (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 19, the "River Runs Through it" Community Fair was held at a state park in Tampa, Florida. The aim of the fair was to promote awareness of the natural environment. Upon hearing about the fair, practitioners participated in the event to let more people know about Falun Dafa.

A practitioner "clarifies the truth" of Falun Gong to visitors

When the practitioners arrived, the usually quiet park was already packed with several hundred people. Practitioners quickly divided into smaller groups: some set up an information table, some distributed fliers to visitors, and some demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Soon after the practitioners' arrival, people came for information. Many were attracted by the peaceful music and graceful exercise demonstration. A practitioner then explained the benefits of Falun Gong to them.

Although the fair was a rather small-scale event, there were visitors from far away. For example, there were some tourists from Montreal, Canada. Among them, some had never heard about Falun Gong, and many could not understand why such a peaceful group is being persecuted, even though they had heard about the persecution. Practitioners then told them what Falun Gong is and answered their questions one after another. After having learned the truth of Falun Gong, the visitors all expressed support.

The fair lasted about 5 hours. Almost all the visitors got information about Falun Gong. Many people said that they would come to the local Falun Gong practice site to learn the exercises.

On the following day, six local residents indeed came to the practice site. When they were just about to finish learning the exercises, a homeless person came to the practitioners' information table. A practitioner gave him a flier. He then said that he really wanted to learn. Although he could hardly walk without his cane, he put it aside and learned all 4 of the standing exercises.
