Lawless Authorities in Linyi City, Shandong Province Sentence Both Practitioners and Non-Practitioners Who Support Dafa to Labor Camps

Case 1

Mr. Li Xuesi, a practitioner in Linyi City, Cangshan County, Shandong Province, previously worked in a police station. Because he persisted in his belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" he was sent to a forced labor camp. Li Xuesi was recently released, but on February 3, 2005, Cangshan County police personnel ransacked his residence and took him directly to the Wangchun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo again for three years of forced labor.

Case 2

Mr. Liu Wenyuan, a retiree from the Cangshan County Court was also illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. Cangshan County Police confiscated his bank book, which showed a 70 thousand yuan balance.

Case 3

Liu Wenyuan's niece, Zhang Ai (daughter of Liu Wenyuan's cousin) and her boyfriend are not practitioners, but they understand the truth about Falun Gong and know that it is being slandered and illegally persecuted. Thus, out of righteousness, they went with Falun Gong practitioners to distribute truth-clarifying materials. After they were arrested while clarifying the truth, Zhang Ai was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor, and her boyfriend was detained for two weeks.

Although the situation is still quite serious, more and more kind-hearted people are giving a helping hand to Falun Gong out of righteousness after they come to understand the truth.
