I No Longer Need to Wear Glasses to Read

I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Liaoning Province and I am about seventy years old. Before I practiced Falun Gong, I needed to wear glasses to correct my presbyopia in order to read. If the light wasn't bright enough, I even needed two pairs of such glasses balanced one on top of the other to help me see the words in a book.

One day in 2000 as I was reading Zhuan Falun, the words suddenly became blurry. I wondered why my reading glasses did not work well. Then I realized that maybe Master was hinting to me that I no longer needed the glasses.

At that time, I silently said in my heart, "Master, I, too, don't want to wear glasses. They are very cumbersome. They press against the bridge of my nose and sometimes slide down my nose, which makes it difficult for me to breathe. Master, please give me a pair of bright eyes to allow me to read Zhuan Falun and Dafa information. I won't ask for anything else."

Then I took off my glasses and closed my eyes for a few minutes. After I opened my eyes, I was surprised to find that I could see the words in Zhuan Falun clearly. I hadn't seen this clearly for several decades. From this time on I have not needed to wear glasses again. I felt I had been truly rejuvenated after practicing Falun Dafa.

Mrs. Chen is seventy-seven year old from Huanggang City, Hubei Province. She had suffered from all kinds of illnesses all her life. She had heart disease, high blood pressure, rheumatism, back problems, and many other illnesses. She had taken a lot of medications and spent a lot of money. Her family is very poor. At home, she cried every day. She did not have enough money to spend on treatment for her illnesses.

However, just three months after Mrs. Chen began to practice Falun Gong, all her illnesses were healed. She no longer needed to spend money on treatments. She told every one she saw that the Master of Falun Gong had healed all her illnesses. She did not know how to thank the Master. All she could do was to tell people that "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good."
