Jiang's Followers in the Persecution Continue to Receive Karmic Retribution By Falun Dafa practitioners in Sichuan Province
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 10,1999, Jiang's regime set up the 610
Office to actively carry out its policy of eradicating Falun Gong. The
610 Office has proven to be a dedicated organization. By December 5, 2004, at
least 1,150 Falun Gong practitioners had died from persecution, and members of
the 610 Office at various levels have committed serious crimes. The death toll
of those officials is also significant.
The reported cases of sudden death among members of the 610 Office are
only the tip of the iceberg of what has taken place across the country. As a
matter of fact, nothing happens without a cause. There is a cause and effect in
everything. Although there are also numerous examples of how officials who
treated Falun Gong students with kind thoughts and kind acts were blessed, in
this article, we limit our discussion to those officials who received karmic
retribution.
Looking at some of these cases, we have seen that many of those who
persecuted, slandered, or expressed hatred for Falun Gong have already met with
karmic retribution. For example, some directly beat or tortured Falun Dafa
practitioners, some assisted in committing crimes against Falun Gong, some
turned practitioners in to the police, some damaged Falun Gong truth-clarifying
materials, and some spread slanderous lies. The karmic retribution they received
has served as both a punishment to them and as a warning to others. The
following are some of the characteristics of the retribution received:
Lawsuits have been filed against Jiang and his immediate followers, the
primary culprits, overseas, while the public is cursing them in China. Some
people may think that the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's regime has
nothing to do with them, and they care very little. The numerous cases that have
already been reported indicate that those who participate in the persecution
will inevitably face karmic retribution. Good is rewarded and evil meets with
evil--this is a law of heaven. Jiang's persecution has hurt the entire
population. The suppression of "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance"
has hurt everyone. Some have not yet realized they have been poisoned by Jiang's
lies. They harbor bad thoughts or even hatred in their hearts, or they have
unwittingly helped to carry out the persecution.
We have gathered below a small number of such cases in Sichuan Province. From
these cases, we can clearly see the scope and severity of the karmic
retribution.
Case 1: Li Chaohong, 31, was an official of the No. 5 Division at Anquan
Village in Wukou Township, Miyi County. In order to seek promotion, Li Chaohong
and Gao Shengquan have turned many Falun Dafa practitioners in to the
authorities for arrest, detention, and forced labor. One night in April 2002, Li
suddenly died.
Case 2: Wu Fugang, was deputy director of Longping Police Station in
Panzhihua City. On October 2, 2002, he cursed Falun Gong's founder in front of
practitioners. A practitioner tried to persuade him to stop, telling him that it
was not good for him to do that. Wu retorted, "I bet that I'll outlive you,
old woman." The practitioner said, "For your sake, I'm not going to
bet with you." Around 3:00 p.m. on November 19, 2002, Wu smashed the car he
was driving into a tollbooth and died on the spot.
Case 3: Yang Hua, was former chief of the Panzhihua City Police Department in
Sichuan Province. Yang persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners since the suppression
started on July 20, 1999. In the following five years, he arrested one group of
practitioners after another. Many of them were detained, sent to labor camps, or
sentenced to prison. Throughout these years, practitioners tried everything they
could to clarify the truth to him and asked him to treat those who
held up their beliefs in "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance" with
kindness. He said instead, "I had surgery in 2000. Whatever retribution
there is, I have met it. I've got nothing to be afraid of." He even claimed
that he lived for the persecution of Falun Gong. In July 2004, he was detained
for negligence as well as taking bribes. After he was removed from his post,
Yang Hua was sentenced to four years in prison.
Case 4: He Ping was the head of the security department at the Chengdu Iron
and Steel Company Ltd. of the Panzhihua Steel Group (formerly named Seamless
Stainless Steel Pipe Factory). He was actively engaged in the persecution of
Falun Gong practitioners by expelling them from the factory, coercing them into
signing the "Guarantee Statements," withholding their salaries and
even withholding pensions from retirees. He was removed from his job after the
theft of raw steel material from the factory was discovered.
Case 5: Chai Faxiang was a member of the political security section of Miyi
County Police Department in Panzhihua City. Chai was known for his cruelty in
beating Falun Gong practitioners. Over a hundred practitioners suffered from his
brutality. In December 2000, Chai doused cold water on Hu Xinyu on a cold winter
day. Hu, from Shuitang Village in Panlian Tonw, was over seventy years old. Chai
then turned on two fans to blow cold air all over him. Chai also took 800 yuan
from Hu during the body search. In November 2002, Chai twisted three pieces of
bamboo strips and whipped Falun Gong practitioner Zhu Zhaojie until Zue was
beaten to a bloody pulp. Two days after this beating, Chao Faxiang died from a
sudden illness.
Case 6: Tang Wen, was former director of Dadukou Police Statin in Panzhihua
City, and was later transferred to the Xiangyangcun Police Station. As the
director of the Dadukou Police Station, Tang was actively involved in the
suppression of Falun Gong. He cursed Falun Gong's founder, arrested
practitioners, and conducted surveillance of them. Around March 2001, Tang hit
the wall of Liangfengau Channel in Panzhihua City while driving alone and died
on the spot.
Case 7: Li Hai, was the former chief of the Meishan City Police Department in
Sichuan Province. He was later transferred to be the head of Ya'an City Police
Department. Li led officers to arrest practitioners and ransack their homes.
After three car accidents, Li still showed no remorse. On the evening of
February 22, 2004, Li committed suicide by jumping from the Ya'an City Police
Department building.
Some people do not believe in karmic retribution or fate, but that doesn't
mean it doesn't exist. When someone has committed too much wrongdoing, there is
no escape from karmic retribution. Sometimes, there is not even a chance for him
to repent. It is really quite tragic. Since this persecution concerns everyone,
it is one's own responsibility to learn the truth. Knowing the truth is indeed a
blessing.
The fates of all of the perpetrators who have committed crimes against Falun
Dafa and its practitioners over the past five long years will depend on choices
they have made for themselves. Confronted by the heavenly principle that
"good deeds will be rewarded and evil deeds will bring karmic
retribution," the officials in China participating in the persecution
should heed the warning signs and reverse their course.
Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder
of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who
persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law
requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by
reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
