Some Thoughts on the Evil Practice of Denigrating Teacher's Photo in Wanjia Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) The authorities in Wanjia Labor Camp of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province use family visits from detained Dafa practitioners' relatives to persecute practitioners and their families. Everyone who comes to visit Dafa practitioners must pass through an entryway where they are forced to step on Teacher's photograph.

Dafa practitioners were grieved to hear this. Thereafter, all the practitioners in Harbin collectively sent forth righteous thoughts regarding this matter. Some practitioners used righteous thoughts to take away the photos. However, the forced labor camp recently wove the photos into a floor mat to facilitate this evil practice.

We Dafa practitioners also looked within and thought about why such an evil thing is happening. We came to a consensus that we had some deficiencies in our coordination and our overall state of improvement. Having realized this, we tried to coordinate better, but the authorities were still endlessly performing this practice. As a result, some of our fellow practitioners felt there was no way around it and became numb to it.

Last night, when I sent forth righteous thoughts regarding this matter, I reconsidered the issue. What is behind the evil forcing people to step on Teacher's photo? How should I, a Dafa disciple, look upon this?

At that moment a strong righteous thought arose in my mind. Then I enlightened to the idea that we practitioners, as one body, do not respect our Teacher enough. For a long time, the authorities at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp have forced detained Dafa practitioners to go against and slander Teacher and Dafa. I think that this is the direct cause for what was happening.

Indirectly, as a whole body some of our fellow practitioners do not attach sufficient importance to cultivation, and do not rightly respect our Teacher. They do the three things superficially. In light of Teacher's recent lectures where he answered practitioners' questions, we found that some practitioners were not very respectful towards Teacher, as evidenced by their tone when asking Teacher questions. This is being used by the evil as an excuse to perform these vicious deeds.

Dafa disciples should be clear that showing respect for our Teacher is of utmost importance. To be in this cosmos, sentient beings, who are restricted by the laws of the cosmos, must do this. However, the evil spirit of the Communists dampened respect for teachers from the heart of Chinese people from a young age. Now, people in China respect parents, elder siblings, and teachers less than ever before. In fact, this is an obstacle to Fa-rectification arranged by the old forces. Today, a lot of our practitioners cannot even detect this. A lot of fellow practitioners have this experience. When they are in front of Teacher's photo, they are even shy to bow to Teacher. In the extreme, some practitioners went astray and developed demonic interference from their own minds, because they don't respect Teacher in their hearts.

Fellow practitioners, let's take a hard look at ourselves, and ask if we have a problem in this regard. If we do, let's get rid of it!

In conclusion, we should not look upon the matter of denigrating Teacher's photo in Wanjia Labor Camp in isolation. It is due to the overall problem of Dafa practitioners in this matter. Meanwhile, we should notify the detained practitioners in Wanjia that they should refuse to turn against or separate themselves from Dafa under the persecution. They should rectify their minds and intensify their righteous thoughts to break the persecution by the evil. As long as we firmly believe in Teacher and Dafa, there will be no tribulations that we cannot pass. Let us send more righteous thoughts, and the evil will disintegrate.
