Mr. Guo Xiaoyan from Jiayu, Hubei Province, and Mr. Song Youhai from Panshi, Jilin Province, Died as a Result of the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Guo Xiaoyan was a retired employee of Paizhou Supplies and Sales, Jiayu County, Hubei Province. After starting the practice of Falun Gong in December 1997, he no longer suffered from strokes as he had before and his health problems disappeared without his taking medication. In October 1999, Mr. Guo went to Beijing to validate the Fa, but was arrested and illegally fined 300 yuan before being sent home. Zhao Shouhuai from the Security Department of the county government and a group of others ransacked Mr. Guo's home on October 17, 2002, and started to constantly harass and threaten him at home. Mr. Guo was so severely affected by this form of persecution that the psychological torment led to his declining physical health. He died on October 27, 2003.

Mr. Song Youhai, 65, was a retired official at the Ming Cheng Financial Department of Panshi City, Jilin Province. He recovered from liver cancer by practicing Falun Dafa. When the persecution started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Song went to the provincial government in Changchun City to appeal for Falun Gong, but was arrested and transferred to a local detention center where he was maltreated and threatened. After Mr. Song was released, the police frequently harassed him at home. As he was under constant pressure by the police, he developed anxiety and fear, which led to the relapse of his old disease. He died on May 11, 2000.
