What I Saw in Other Dimensions about the Attachment of Lust

As practitioners we all know that the attachment of lust is a very serious attachment that we must abandon by all means. It is a fundamental test we must pass to cross the dividing line between a cultivator and an ordinary person. We know this, yet many of us still struggle with the demon of lust, even after several years of cultivating in Dafa. I would like to share briefly with fellow practitioners what I recently saw happening in other dimensions when we fail to pass the test of lust. I hope that this sharing will encourage the righteous thoughts of fellow Dafa cultivators to soberly and rationally abandon this devious attachment and strive forward on their path of Fa-rectification.
I saw that in other dimensions when one gives into lust, a piece of the body's vital essence will be taken out of the dantian area. That essence is willingly given away and it could only be recovered through arduous cultivation. How sad and regretful! How unnecessary! In Lecture 6 of Zhuan Falun, Demonic Interference in Cultivation, Master Li says:
Once your mind thinks about it, you will ejaculate and make it a reality. Think about it, everyone: In our cultivation practice, the essence of the body is used to cultivate one's life; you cannot always ejaculate like this. Meanwhile, you have not passed the lust test. How can it be permitted? Therefore, I am telling you that everybody will come across this issue, and it is guaranteed.
In human society we are brought up to believe that the attachment of lust is normal and part of being a "healthy" adult. Thus some have accrued a great deal of thought karma that will cause interference from time to time, or even on an ongoing basis. This karma is also alive and does not want to die. In this special period of Fa-rectification, Dafa disciples have special, historical missions that are incredibly sacred. If we do not or cannot abandon the attachment of lust or deal righteously with the thought karma from lustful thoughts that interferes with us, how many losses could that cause in our efforts to save sentient beings? If a practitioner sees an ordinary person and has lustful thoughts about them, how can that be good for us or for them? And at the same time we have not passed this initial test that we all must overcome upon entering the door of cultivation.
In Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York (Questions & Answers Section, Part III), it says:
Disciple: I have bad thought-karma. I have refused to acknowledge it all along and I have been trying to get rid of it. But it's been a long time and I still haven't managed to get rid of it. I am able to tell that it is not me.
Teacher: If it's something truly bad, then eliminate it. And sometimes there is another approach that has good results, and it's not necessarily an extreme way to handle it. You can have this thought: "During the Fa-rectification of the cosmos, I can make a reasonable arrangement for those of you who don't interfere with my validating the Fa; I can have you become beings in the future. Those of you who seek a benevolent resolution should leave me and wait in my surroundings. If you really cannot leave me, then don't have any part in interfering with me. In the future I will be able to achieve Consummation, and I will offer you a benevolent resolution. Those who are completely bad, who still interfere with me and who cannot remain will, according to the standards, have to be eliminated. Even if I don't eliminate you, the Law of the cosmos won't let you remain." If you have that thought, it is tremendously merciful to some of those extremely low-level beings, and it will make it easy to eliminate those who still interfere.
The Fa-rectification of the cosmos has standards. If you do it that way no one will have any grounds to challenge you. The principles are clear, as those who are supposed to be eliminated are to be eliminated. And yes, when it comes to many low-level things you may eliminate them completely--there's no problem with that in terms of the principles. But when you handle it as I just described, no being can say anything in objection. Those who continue to do bad things will have no justification whatsoever, and whatever is supposed to be done will be done. (Applause)
As Dafa disciples we should seize this solemn present moment to do well with the three things and do our utmost to save sentient beings. This requires giving up every ordinary person's desires, including the attachment of lust. If we are truly being interfered with by thought karma from our past deviated thinking, then we should do as Teacher has told us we can do and handle things righteously. I encourage my fellow practitioners to carefully look inside and root out any remaining threads of the attachment of lust so that the body of Dafa disciples can advance forward on the magnificent path of Fa-rectification and truly fulfill our historic missions.
