The Women's Jail in Inner Mongolia is a Dark Den Used for the Persecution of Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) The Women's Jail in Inner Mongolia is a dark den for the persecution of Dafa practitioners, and the staff members there have committed monstrous crimes against Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Below is a part of the physical and mental abuse that a detained Dafa practitioner has witnessed.

Ms. Yu Zhenjie, an Inner Mongolia Dafa practitioner, was illegally put in Baoanzhao Jail for clarifying the truth to people. After being detained, she often called out, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!" Assistant Warden Zhou Jianhua and others cruelly tortured her and put her in solitary confinement many times . In the isolation room, there was no mattress or bedding. The guard simply cuffed and chained practitioners onto the cement floor. Sometimes practitioners were cuffed spread-eagle, and sometimes the practitioners were cuffed in such a way that they could neither sit, lie down, nor squat. In order to relieve themselves, they had to do it on the spot. Sometimes they were cuffed with their hands to the back, often resulting in deep cuts in the flesh. Furthermore, the torture went on for a long period of time, and usually there was a new round every few months with new methods adopted. Once, some visitors arrived for inspection from higher government organs, and Yu Zhenjie loudly called out, "Falun Dafa is good!" The visitors were shocked. Prison guard Zhou Jianhua told the visitors that Yu Zhenjie had a mental disorder to cover for himself. After seeing the visitors off, Zhou Jianhua assaulted Ms. Yu and started striking her on the face. Yu Zhenjie was unfazed and still firmly declared, "Falun Dafa is good!" Zhou Jianhua then put her in solitary confinement, which was some distance from the main jail cell. Zhou kept beating her on the way there, causing Yu Zhenjie's nose and mouth to bleed profusely.

When Baoanzhao Jail was closed, the detainees were transferred to the Hohhot City Women's Jail in Inner Mongolia. Because Yu Zhenjie called out "Falun Dafa is good" as she got off the vehicle, the prison guards were frightened and angered. Yu Zhenjie also refused to wear the prisoner's uniform or recite the jail regulations. The guards instigated prisoners to beat her every day. Later, she started having mental problems as a result of the relentless torture. Even so, the guards continued to persecute her.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yazhi is from Zhe Meng, Inner Mongolia. In 2002, she went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing with her daughter and brother to validate the Fa and was thrown in the Baoanzhao Jail. Their going to Beijing enraged the local police, who proceeded to bulldoze their house down to the ground. Her husband was forced to look for another place to live, and her brother was also persecuted. Because she firmly believed in Dafa and refused to follow the perpetrators' orders, she was severely abused by jail guard Zhou Jianhua. She was not allowed to use the toilet or get in touch with anyone. Under the instigation of the guards, the prisoners used a quilt to cover her head and beat her mercilessly, nearly killing her. After several months of brutal torture, the once healthy and strong Liu Yazhi became paraplegic. The authorities then tried to deceive her brother, who was illegally detained in Baoanzhao Men's Jail, saying that she suffered a stroke. Her brother did not believe the lie and said, "My sister was so healthy, how could she have become paralyzed? There must be a reason!"

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Hongjuan, from Chifeng City, 24, was an outstanding student at the Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology. On July 4, 2003, she was illegally arrested and sentenced to 8 years in Baoanzhao Jail. She is from a poor family. After summer vacation in 2002, her parents borrowed 5,000 yuan from various places for her tuition for the coming semester. However, the money was confiscated by the police from the National Security brigade of Hongshan District of Chifeng City. Meanwhile, after being thrown in Baoanzhao Jail, she was tortured by Zhou Jianhua. When Ms. Zhou Caixia died as a result of torture within a few days of her admission there, Zhao Hongjuan strongly demanded to see the relevant authorities. But Zhou Jianhua did not want to leave her as a potential witness and started to torture her, as well. For two months, Zhao was cuffed the whole time, unable to sit up or sleep lying down. She was tormented both physically and mentally.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Hao Ping from Chifeng City is in her thirties. She and her husband were illegally put in jail for clarifying the truth. Hao Ping was sentenced to seven years in jail. Hao Ping and her husband had a business raising animals. When they were thrown in jail, their property was confiscated by the police. Their son was so shocked that he suffered from mental problems, and his status is unclear at present. In the Hongshan District Detention Center, Hao Ping endured all kinds of torture and abuse. The police once put her in an iron cage for 24 hours, shocked her with electric batons, denied her food or water, and did not allow her to use the toilet. The guards had her sleeping on the cement floor and instigated prisoners to beat her. She could not walk normally for three days after one of the beatings. Prisoners Wang Ling, Li Ying and others often cruelly tortured her, and tormented her mentally and physically at will with the guards' blessing.
